If you're new to the world of doggy ownership you'll probably discover that you need to keep the thing entertained - bit like a toddler: lots of energy all the time!I found these types of toys quite useful eg involving food! It does get difficult to open / close so I often drop some cooking oil into the thread. If you don't use it for a week or 2 the oil dries out so leave it open or prepare for a fight to open it.I give the dog some of her dry meals in this, rather than treats in addition to her meals, because she's able to get the food out quite quickly.

Betty loves this toy. It is big enough for me to fit all of her lunch in it so she has something to do when I go out to work. I have made the mistake of making it too difficult for her in the past- still had food in when I got home and a disinterested puppy asleep in her bed.The opening is generally quite big and her food is really small so I have to have it on a high difficulty otherwise it won't be a challenge!

My two pointers destroyed this is less than an hour. It's now in eight pieces. The plastic does not feel robust at all and is nowhere near the standard of Kong which is now all I'll buy. Avoid unless you have a small toothless dog!

Good item and very sturdy our puppy loves it and it keeps her occupied for ages,she learnt very quickly how to get the treats out by rolling it over on the floor, it is also amusing for us to watch her playing with it.

My dog loves these but we keep losing them in the garden when the foxes pinch them.Think I will buy in bulk next time!!
