All I have to say is: YOU NEED THIS FLASHLIGHT!This thing is AMAZING.The floodlight can light up an entire 600sqft room as if you had no roof in direct sunlight.The spotlight function, was SHOCKING! I was able to spot an Owl in a tree on my property 500m from my pool patio!This will come in handy for ALL types of scenarios.Well worth the cost! Just don’t tell your wive’s until it’s past the return period =)

So let me say that I am grateful that the product got here relatively quick but as a business owner and paramedic I am very upset that the over 300 dollars I spent on this item is very disappointing that the light only works half of the time. I needed this light for the purposes of work and my safety and yet I can not feel safe taking this flashlight with me that I had to get a tactical flashlight for work. I believe that another item should be sent out and a partial refund should suit this claim. Sincerely Vincent

So it came with barley any charge and playing with it i couldnt believe how bright this pocket monster of a light beam was...... Well little to my knowledge that was only medium!! Got this bad boy fully charged up and holy mother of bagebus i am pretty sure i blinded the international space station as they flew by with this thing in the spot light mode. AND THEN!!! We flipped her over to the flood light mode "which really should say warning Sun activation mode engaged when flipping" becuase BOOM the sun was back up at 9 o clock at night!! I am pretty sure all the rooster in a 10 mile radius started goin off Cock a Doodle Dooooo!!So moral of this review is this! If you were dumb like me a said screw it im blowing a ton of money on a flash light well dont worry cause big things came in a small package with this bad boy so ur wife wont be disappointed in ya!Definitely highly recommend this thing to say the least

UPDATE: I returned the first light and purchased another one, and this light really is different. The switch doesn't seem so sloppy, and it stays off. It is still not consistent with the clicks on the dial, but I will certainly be keeping this one. I changed my review to 4 stars as the 1st light just seemed to be defective. Here's hoping that is not a common thing for others to experience.UPDATE: After consistent issues, I've decided to exchange it and try another one... this one must be defective. Will update regarding replacement.I wanted to love this light so badly, but the switch makes it impossible. Sometimes it doesn't turn the light on, other times the switch won't change brightness level. It even goes into strobe sometimes when I'm trying to change the brightness level. I put it to charge while it was off, and later on came back to find the flashlight was ON! (trust me, I did not leave it on). Does not inspire confidence. I expected a better switch at this price point. Its very wobbly/flimsy, and the amount of clicks to change levels is inconsistent. Also, the large plastic lens makes me super scared to scratch it. I am probably going to return it, but I don't want to. But what is the point of having a very sexy and bright light that throws well, that you cannot depend on? It's an excellent idea, but the switch seems poorly executed, in my opinion. At this point, if the switch is acting up already, it probably won't last for years as one would expect at this price... and because of this, it probably doesn't belong in my collection. Maybe I got a lemon? Maybe I'll try an exchange first.

I wasn't going to bother writing a review until I read one of the only bad reviews by some bubble head that apparently doesn't read instruction manuals, and was crying about "couldn't turn it on." Well the light has an INTERLOCK on the on/off switch. You have to ROTATE it 90 degrees before you press the button to turn it on. This is to ensure it doesn't get bumped and inadvertently turn on. It can get hot on the high settings if left on, so it's a SAFETY FEATURE. So please don't pay attention to the person not smart enough to know how to turn it on, so they gave it one star. This is a FIVE STAR flashlight, all day long. It's one of the best quality and brightest flashlights in the world. It's well built, it's solid, it's heavy, it's big in the hand and that feels good, it's just impressive. I've seen the videos of these lighting entire back yards as though it was a stadium light, and yes, that is exactly what this can do. It has 7 power settings all the way from about as bright as an old bulb flashlight all the way up to don't shine it in someone's eyes or you could blind them. The flood or spot feature is excellent. You get two different flashlights in one. The only thing that I found a little annoying is if you're in a room with white walls, or anywhere that will cause a reflection back at the flashlight, the flashlight does have light sensing and will dim the power if there's too much light shining back at the flashlight. It will kick the power right back up after a couple seconds, but I wish Olight would let ME decide if I want to dim the light or not. I don't like it when someone has to play BIG BROTHER and LOOK OUT FOR ME. People should be free to make their own choices, good or bad. Other than that, I have no complaints. This is an incredible flashlight. I would definitely, without hesitation, recommend it.
