These are by far my favorite cord protectors. I wouldn't say they look GOOD, but they have a much more streamlined look than the typical big, clunky, opaque, crinkly cord protectors I was always stuck with before finding these. They fit snugly/closer to the wire than most cord protectors, so they stay where I place them and I no longer have the problem of the ends of the cord sliding out of the protector and getting nibbled to death by the cat while I'm not looking. And they do the job just fine, i.e., prevent my chewing-fixated cat from destroying cords and shocking herself. Kitty doesn't even seem interested in attempting to chew on these. I love that these come in a mini size that fits phone cords well, as well as the a normal size that works for standard lamps and such.

Without taking the teeth out of my cat (which I would never do) and since I cannot seem to make my children understand that you need to put your headphone chords, iphone chords, playstation controller chords away when you are done using them - I needed to go to plan B. I had bought my son 4 sets of headphones for his playstation this year because the cat kept chewing through the chord. Then I bought this product to wrap around the chord and the issue has been solved!!! Thank you!!

I'm not sure if this item acts as a deterrent, but it definitely fits over most standard electrical cords. I used it on my refrigerator cord, the cord to a power strip, and to cover my router cord. It's easy to apply and provides adequate coverage. The material is soft enough to be pliable for easy use and thick enough that it should provide protection from claws and small teeth.

I was leery of purchasing this cord cover because some reviews said this had a bad smell. I don't smell anything except plastic, thank goodness. The cord cover seems to work great. My only complaint would be that the cover tends to open at the ends and appears to pull away. I put tape around the ends in hopes that it will keep this on my cords.

Our rabbit ate through this in less than one minute.

Just purchased to help protect the two 6 week old kittens that are running around the house and getting into everything! After reading other reviews of other similar products I ended on this one and I'm very pleased with it so far. Easy to install and fully encompassing of the lamp wire. I think it will be very difficult for the kittens and ultimate cats to chew through it.

Some reviews said this was fish tubing! It's totally not! It's a clear, thick plastic tubing slit down the middle for wire insert. My cat chews every wire in my house so I bought this and used on my Mac book! It has stopped my heavy duty kitty chewer!!

My cats are instantly drawn to power cords. I was replacing cords all the time. These fixed the problem immediately! As soon as I put this on a cord, both of my cats lose immediate interest in the cord; they don't even try to chew the PetCord. Highly recommend!
