Great Detailed V-Shaped Headphones
Build: The oval cups are solid walnut. The walnut has a nice smooth finish that doesn't feel rough. Nice 50 millimeter beryllium driver inside each one. Metal arms hold onto the cups. Smooth metal satin finished hinges. Okay quality protein leather on the headband and cups. Very solid build.---------------------------------------------------------------------Comfort: The oval pads are just soft enough not to cause any pain after hours of use. They fit on my ears and not over.Since these aren't sold as monitors I'll give the padding a pass. I don't feel any heat or discomfort from the headband at all at any time. They weigh 11 ounces and are quite comfortable for being heavier than average headphones.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Sound: They're V-Shaped, which means emphasis on the low end and high end frequencies. With sharp treble comes very detailed sound. You'll be able to pickup on little details in audio with these. The treble isn't piercing. The sub and deep bass is very clean. The mid range is recessed of course but there's just enough of it to sound present in the audio you're listening to. If you like V-Shaped sound signatures, you'll love these.Verdict: These are an absolute great set of headphones that deliver a great value in terms of sound quality and included accessories. A perfect gift for someone who really loves music.

Get something else, cheaper and sounds better than this. Unless you like the look and don't care how it sounds.
2 stars, one for the build quality and look, one for the accessories. This is a headphone for fun and look, it looks nice with the wood cup, and that's all.It leaks sound a lot, I don't think this is close back although it looks like one.How you like the headphone sound is a very personal taste, and this headphone is not for me.I compared to several other cheap headphones I have, most of them you can get it cheaper than this one.I didn't compare to any other headphones I have that cost more than $100, because it won't be fair.If you want something sounds good and dirt cheap, try Monoprice 8323Or semi open, try Superlux HD 681Close back, try Status Audio CB-1Or even better, but you need to wait 2 weeks for shipping: Takstar Pro 82, or you can order from Amazon for $30 dollar more than Tomtop, but you can get it in 3 days.

These were pretty good, but had problems quick
These were pretty good, but had problems quick. the connection at the headphones had connection issues causing the left ear to cut in and out. Bass response was not what I would expect from hard backed phones like these, but was sufficient. The sturdy construction adds a lot of weight. I am a sound designer and electronic music artist so therefore very picky about quality and continuity of sound. These unfortunately didn't pass the test although I had high hopes for it.

Antique wood style with good quality for hi-fi beginners
One of my friends recommended this headphone to me, and after I tried it, its quality really surprised me.The walnut wood gives the whole headphone a taste of antiquity, although you may want to keep the wooden part from possible scratches. As for the sound quality, it handles low pitch very well, and in high pitch range, the output is smooth. For lossless audio, the headphone does a very satisfactory job reconstructing the details in performances. In my opinion, this headphone may not be appealing to audiophiles who seek perfect sound fidelity, but for music fans who want to step into the doors of hi-fi, it is one of the best headphones <$100 available on the market.

Outstanding for the money!
Outstanding headphones for the money. Deep bass, natural voice presentation, and silky highs. Beautifull wood enclosure, and very comfortable. I'm using an FP27 Headphone Amplifier( SPL clone SPL2730/2731)purchased from doukstore, connected to my McIntosh C50 preamp. The headphone comes with 2 detachable cables. One cable an inline mic/remote that stops the music when the phone rings. The other cable is just a basic cable. It also comes with an adapter that has two mini 1/8" plugs on one end and one 1/8" jack on the other end. Nicely packaged as well which gives one the impression that there is a quality product inside.

Good quality, does not fit smaller or rounder heads.
The sound quality is good and the cord is lengthy and sturdy for when you need that kind of thing. I wish the strap/headpiece would have collapsed more for a tighter fit. The headphones tug my ears down to the point where I need to wear a tight winter hat to keep them somewhat in place.

Must buy!
Great feel and comfort. The sound quality is definitely found in much more expensive models. Great price for performance and design.

The product is high quality and sounds great BUT they are VERY LARGE
The product is high quality and sounds great BUT they are VERY LARGE. The pair I bought had no special sizing information, so I assumed that they would fit most normal sized people. In fact, they are far too big to fit most people comfortably without sliding down, and putting pressure on the crown of their head. I passed these around my office, offering to give them away for free to anyone who they fit. They were too big for 10 of the 11 people who tried them.
