Bought this for a friend who has the audacity to think his guacamole is better than mine. Not a chance, dude.Really funny and cute book with recipes ranging from basic to adventurous. Some drink recipes too. Funny asides between recipes and some party ideas too.Nice work from the authors! This made the perfect gift for my friend.

I bought this right before our 3rd annual Guac-off at work. I won the first year with a recipe from Chef Bobby Flay, I called "Flaymin Guac." I lost the 2nd year and didn't want that to happen again so I bought this book and used the mango recipe. My "Don't judge a Guac by its color," won first prize. The recipe was perfection. This book is great, the recipes are great. Highly recommended if you want to beat the competition.

If you love avocados, then you'll love this. It is a fun book and has lots of different ideas for avocados. I only gave it 4 stars because it is such a small size. I prefer a more normal size cookbook.

I love making guac and thought that this book would be awesome but the recipes are just OK. I have made several guac recipes from this book and have not found a good tasting recipe yet. I did really enjoy all of the information in the front of the book and the recipes are nicely laid out. It is just not for my taste buds.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He is a guacamole lover to say the least. Before I bought the book, he constantly experimented with guac recipes but now he is branching out even more! He is even thinking about hosting his own guac off party to display his new guac recipes. He even enjoyed the history of the guacamole section. This book is highly recommended!

New way to approach avocados. It is written in simple yet straight forward language which allows the reader to enjoy this book to the fullest.

Ordered my mortar and pestal and can hardly wait to put some of those delicious receipes to use. yummy yummy
