Bone Deep is a thought provoking and compelling read by Debra Webb. It is a book that I believe will stay with me; it is extremely well written, and a bit unsettling.Attorney Jillian Ellington returns to her childhood home in Paradise, TN, after a call from her mother, informing her that her twin sister Kate is the primary suspect in the murder of her husband, Karl Manning, CEO of a medical research company, and that their son Cody is missing. Upon the advice of Jill's former college professor and lover, Richard Lawton, Jill seeks assistance from a former FBI agent and forensic psychologist, Dr. Paul Phillips. Phillips reluctantly agrees to help, and their search uncovers nightmares that have laid dormant for years. Paradise is not the idyllic town it appears to be. What kind of research is taking place: altering genetics, genetic mutations, cloning??? The answers come, yet at a precious and precarious price for Jill, Kate, Paul, Paradise and beyond. Bone Deep is suspenseful, somewhat disquieting, intriguing, a very satisfying read.

This is my first Debra Webb book and I am excited about reading more of her work.The characters were fully formed and the the story was exciting and easy to follow. This book is for anybody who enjoys a good story that creates its own world for you to escape into.

I really liked this book. It grabbed my attention right from the start. I couldn't put it down until I finished it now I am off to the sequel. bone Cold!

I could barely put the book down. After I got closer to the truth as the story unfolds, I would sneak a chapter here and there...finishing it in a few days. Great read!

Debra Webb writes the best books, seldom after reading a book , you can find another as good by the same author, hers are the ones that constantly surprise you. Amazing

This book kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading. The storyline was very different from others I’ve read, but believable. I loved it.

Where to begin? Quite predictable, attraction to insta-love, horrible editing (ex: Benford/Bedford Medical). A lot of unnecessary words and redundant emotional explanation.

Debra Webb writes excellent, thrilling, heart-felt novels. Her vocabulary is always appropriate; her descriptions are real and factual. I will continue to look for her novels. THE BEST

Didn't enjoy this book as much as the others I've read by this author. It was a good storyline,different but, I knew what was going to happen all the time. I guessed the plot, before I was half way through the book

What a story! I was literally holding my breath throughout. Hoping for the best outcome but expecting the worst. What a treat!!

Great book and original story. The story moved quickly along, and kept my interest and I liked the characters. Will read more of the authors books.

Enjoyable, well written, eye opening to some, rare but possible, events caused by greed and power. New author for me, and I enjoyed the flow and character development. Give it a try and see for yourself.
