The Book of Radical General Semantics

As a school teacher and college professor at three renowned universities I would have to throw out 90% of my unsane lesson plans and create new ones with pleasure.

A little too detailed

I was pleased to know that there are some astute thinkers who are initiating the further development of General Semantics and integrating it into other venues.

I will continue to re-read and consult for years to come. Worth the investment :)

Ouvrage remarquable qui démontre la grande pertinence de la sémantique générale aujourd’hui, et pour longtemps encore. Une approche qui va constamment à la racine des principes, procédés et techniques de la SG de Korzybski.

I previously thought it contained almost only the content of his old discussion group, I only recently realized there was much more in it.I found great value in the book with its simple and memorable explanations, plus I got a few new ideas from reading it too even though I've been in the general semantics field for a while and read many books on the subject.The book have a lot of content and the covering of each pieces of information is brief, clear and to the point. The examples and exercices are also concise and very well explained, an amazing feat.I particularly liked the O’Hanlon diagram in the ‘in the zoo’ part, the diagram clearly depict the same deduction I had about the object level and I had been looking for a way to depict it but finally gave up. The diagram in that section does exactly what I was looking for 🙂Unfortunately, I haven't found all of the book as interesting as the couple very excellent chapters but the book is worth 5 stars just for the content of these chapters, the rest is extra :-)Highly recommended!, great original content and at 10$ for the ebook it's a steal, the parts I liked I liked very much and there are many :-)
