I used it to renew my light cherry kitchen cabinets. It covered up light scratches, gave a shiny surface. Wood looked like new. In case your kitchen cabinets suffered from a lot of water or the poly is worn off to a big extent, it is advisable to sand down, stain and coat with poly.

Mine came in a liquid form at room temperature. I'm returning the can . I caled the us distributor several times and he never return my call.
