At less than 20% of the price of the OEM Samsung filter I was skeptical. I first checked the NSF website for the NSF certificate number that's listed in the product description, but I couldn't find the certificate. So I emailed the NSF. To my astonishment, a real person followed up and after some research confirmed that this product is in fact NSF certified. So I ordered a three-pack and installed today. The fit is excellent and initial performance is excellent too - flow is equal to or better than the Samsung OEM and the filtered water tastes excellent. See the photo for comparative specs (Samsung OEM vs FilterLogic). Assuming the performance holds, I'm thrilled. I can afford to change these much more frequently than the Samsung, so I don't really care if they last as long as the OEM (the performance of the Samsung filters, like all filters, degrades over time so more frequent changes should result in better water quality). Kudos to Filter Logic for a good, inexpensive product and kudos to NSF for responding quickly and personally.

Don't buy this product! I have used it for 1 month and this morning, I happen to put water into a white cup and when I started to drink it, I saw numerous black fibers floating in the water! I immediately went and got 3 more white cups and put water in them and it was the same! I am very upset because I have used these for a month not realizing the potential for this problem. I've drank the water, used it make iced tea, used it to cook with.........I am NOT a happy camper! I was going to return all 3 that I purchased only to learn that my "return window" closed on 8/13. Today is 8/27 :( I will be going to my local LOWES today to purchase the original SAMSUNG D29 filter!

Works very well. The water volume has a good flow rate while still doing a very good job of filtration.A helpful installation tip that i use is to hold the filter under a very slow running tap to fill-up the filter before installing it. i have found that doing this eliminates all the sputtering upon initial use. You should still run a quart of water or so through it and discard that initial batch like the instructions state.

So far - so good. Put the first one in 3 weeks ago. Water comes out fast and has no odd taste. The price is incredible after going to Lowe’s to buy the same Samsung I had always bought and they are $49.99 EACH now decided to look on Amazon. Those would last exactly 6 months so we shall see if this last as long

These fit and work just like oem. I was surprised to see I didn't have to run a lot of water through the new filter before it ran clear, no charcoal reside. Maybe because there isn't much charcoal, who knows?I bought a pack of 3 on 08/2018 for $18.58. Today, 04/19/2020, a pack of 3 are now $29.99! Looks like I'll be buying elsewhere for a better deal/value!
