Clodagh's Irish Kitchen: A Fresh Take on Traditional Flavors

I’ve just made the Irish Tea Brack,. So easy & tasty. Good with butter or a bit of custard. Round the whole gamut of the menu. Fish, meat, vegetables, sweets & breads/ buns. I bought it because I initially wanted to renew my affection with soda bread which my Irish grandmother used to make everyday when we were over on holiday.

This is a fantastic book forthose who wish to savour Irish cookery! Well written and thought out , these recipes are not in this book to tax you, but to encourage you to try things that you have tasted but never thought of cooking. Recipes are easy to understand and while your waiting fir your dishes to come to fruition you can look at the beautiful scenery of Ireland that has been captured in the photographs from this book.

My husband is an amazing chef and is seldom impressed with cookbooks, but Clodagh's always give him some interesting twists. This one in particular gives great insights into Irish cuisine with contemporary and appealing twists. Excellent book!
