Yes going from 11T/40T for most would be good until you get the last COG which is nearly almost an inch difference from the 34 to the 40 nothing in betweenDefinitely not recommended unless you want to switch out your derailleur as well to maybe 11 speed possible 12 speed for The Gap change then it may work maybe

Ordered this just because the Oil Slick option looked super cool. For the price, I didn't expect it to perform or last very long. I have about 500mi on this so far and although perhaps it is not as smooth as a Dura Ace cassette, It functions great for that set of bullet proof wheels that you just train on.

I have bought many cassettes from the other guys, both of whose names begin with 'S'. and I think you know who I'm talking about. I was originally skeptical when I saw this product because it wasn't one of the 2 big guys, plus the price was less than half of what the other guys wanted. I was impressed with the build quality, and it installed easily, just like the cassettes from the other guys, but I just wasn't convinced it would hold up.Well, after over 5,000 miles I'm convinced that it is a quality product. I ride just about every day and have had no issues with the cassette. There is no noticeable wear, no slippage from the chain, and nothing coming loose or falling apart. I didn't compare the weight of this product with the other guys because it doesn't matter to me. Overall, it's a quality cassette at a super low price that has withstood the test of time.
