Size XL is a great fit I’m a size 14 and very comfortable and breathable

Very very comfortable feeling sock I ordered the extra large I wear a size 13 the sock itself lengthwise and height fit but it is a little uncomfortable because the arch is so tight. I'm trying to stretch it out by putting a softball in the sock when it's drying.

I had such high expectations for these socks after hearing such wonderful things about them (nevermind the high cost). Maybe it's just the fit on my feet, but I don't see how these are much better than other merino socks that are more economically priced. I bought the size XL since I wear a mens 12 to 13 depending on brands and have larger than average calves. But these socks seem to slip around on my foot and have a tendency to go crooked which drives me bonkers. They appear to be well made and good quality, but based on how they fit my feet and at such a high price point that leaves little room for error I just can't give them 5 stars. Maybe a Large would be a better option for my feet, but I fear they would fit too tightly. I give these an average three stars.

CloudLine's medium cushion hiking and trekking socks have become my workhorse socks.I'm a pharmacist, and spend many hours on my feet in environments that are quite hostile to your feet.These socks are quite well made, and very comfortable.They seem to run a little smaller than the size you thought you bought if you have wide feet.I just buy the next size up.Problem solved.As a general observation... the socks being shipped now SEEM to be a little bit larger.Anyhow, I recommend these socks without reservation.

My husband loves these, we started with the the regular ankle socks for him and now he has three pairs in every length! Such great socks !!!
