The Dinosaur Lawyer (Aaron Baker Book 3)

“The Dinosaur Lawyer” is redolent of “Inherit the Wind” and the Scopes Monkey Trial, in that it addresses lingering questions about evolution, the interpretation of historical artifacts, the interpretation of objective findings to fit preconceptions and the implications of evolutionary science on religious faith. Like the Scopes Trial, the courtroom drama is manipulated by parties with powerful interests and ulterior motives.Sibling rivalry between two extraordinarily wealthy identical twins boils over into a high-stakes lawsuit for defamation of character that hinges on proving or disproving the existence of giant dinosaurs, the existence of which can only be inferred from incomplete fossils records. Yet, much of science suggests that such creatures could never have existed. The arguments of the dinosaur denying skeptics are presented lucidly, causing the reader to doubt long-cherished assumptions.

It's a fairly competent bit of legal fluff with about as many real world facts as Lord of the Rings. Recommended as travel reading only.
