Loved the book really different from the type of book I normally read had me gripped

A Street Dog Named Pup is beautifully written and illustrated by Gill Lewis. This wonderfully emotional book stays with you long after you’ve read it: the unfairness, the cruelty, but most of all, the love between a dog and his boy. The setting and all the characters, human and canine, feel very real. You want to reach in and rescue Pup and the street dogs and give them a home. What an incredible story!

The media could not be loaded. Wow, what a captivating read. I love that it is written from the dog’s perspective and illustrates the cruel and loving nature of man. So much sadness, but always hope.Annoyingly, the printers failed this book as most of my pages were stuck and had to keep peeling them. The pages look tatty. I’ve added a picture and video for reference.My husband brought me this book from my Amazon wish list and would definitely recommend it.

Gill Lewis is a great author. My son has read a few of her books and simply can't put them down. Lots of adventure, great characters, and good settings.

OMG I absolutely loved this book, I cried buckets and will keep this book forever. Everyone that thinks of buying a dog should read this first, a dogs heart does get broken when passed over time and time again beautiful book 🐾

Beautifully written book. My daughter loved it and is now reading all of Gill Lewis's books. Very popular with the year 6's.

This book tugs at every emotion that you have and has you questioning the human race and how they treat the one animal that loves unconditionally

Loved this book, could hardly put it down . Was well written with a loveable main character. Near to tears at time .
