Gold Leaf, Paint & Glass

This book is not for someone who wants a collection of step by step projects on the subject. In fact it only has one of those. It is an excellent book on the history and the explanation of the materials that are used with this art. It does have numorous examples of works done in the art and the materials that were used.

Overpriced

Very informative book, should be ok for a beginner, the mirrors look good. Reasonably priced for a beginner to do

I bought this book for a member of staff so this is the second copy of this book I have, compared to the first one the print quality is really poor. Can hardly make out the photographs, which are pretty integral to a book like this.Shame as information in the book itself is good.

Nicely presented book, however, a dvd would have been a nice addition. Rather on the slim size, however, will give me a good starting point to discover this beautiful craft.

Really well illustrated, good brief history of gilding and painting and step by step project is well described and photographed.

Excellent book! Full of great tips and advice, invaluable to the Verre eglomise artist! Would highly recommend!
