Color matches the picture and appears very well made. Blanket has a little bit of weight to it, but not too much, and is perfectly warm. Pairs well with my bamboo sheets. I imagine that it will get softer over time.

I like the quality but it’s too short for my bed.

It fits when you buy it, but does shrink significantly even when washed in cold and dried on low temp. We LOVED this blanket when we first opened the package, even though it did have a couple of snags when it arrived. It was plenty big enough for our king bed.BUT, when I washed as directed on cold and dried it on low, it shrunk 6+ inches on the width and even more in the length. Even though I have the blanket pulled down from the top of the bed now, it is difficult to tuck in much at the bottom of the bed. It also takes quite a while for it to dry; it's quite heavy when wet.If this blanket hadn't shrunk so much, I would have highly recommended it!

My father in law is special! he is child of the Great Depression.... this is the 1st blanket we have purchased that feels like living in the 30's...Seriously, it is a soft, warm blanket that fits his Calafornia King bed... He loves it and wants me to buy more. Will trade the Father in law for more blankets

This is a light weight woven cotton blanket! The color I received is true to the color pic on Amazon.Only problem is with my little dog who sometimes scratches on it and his nailes pull out the threads from the herringbone weave.
