Simple recipes with carb totals
Got this for my sister since my nephew (10 yo) was just diagnosed with diabetes. She loved it. She liked that the recipes were simple having only a couple ingredients each. She also noticed that each recipe had carb totals listed (super helpful!!) The recipes really are kid approved, my nephew didnโt turn his nose up to any so far.

Nice I guess.
Has alot of recipes. Some have alot of carbs. And there are no pictures to compare to. I think the price is a bit much.

Useful Book
I got this for my niece who is only 4 years old and recently diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. Very unfortunate. There are just enough recipes that she may like since kids are so picky at this age. Maybe she will like the others when she gets a little older. Overall, there are many recipes to try and even good enough for adults to try who want healthier options.

The book has been amazing
I'm not really a review writer but I just had to talk how great this book has been...my son is diabetic and a picky eater. I read some good reviews and thought I would give this book a chance not only for me make new things for him but so that he can start making things for himself. We've made a few recipes together and he's enjoyed them and I'm honestly glad he's eating. I had to write this review tonight because he made his own cornbread today, we havent tried it just wanted to make it advance, but it smells great. Overall I've enjoyed the ease of the recipes, it gives us different ideas and getting to spend quality time with my son in the kitchen just makes me so happy.

This book provide a great variety of Tasty
I have found this book to be very helpful in taking some strain out of thinking what I can feed my 3 yr old Type 1 Diabetic son, especially at snack times. We all now how stressful meal times can get especially for working mums. What are we going to have? Carb counting, Is it healthy? so on and so on.When searching for meal options on the net or magazines I was finding that most of the diabetic websites or magazines had recipes that were more suited for adults or type 2 diabetics not so much for Toddlers/children with type 1.This book provide a great variety of Tasty, healthy recipes suited to Children that the entire family can enjoy.

Great Recipes
My daughter was newly diagnosed with Type 1 and this book gave us some great ideas for snacks. It can get boring eating the same snacks over and over again. Thanks to the Author๐๐๐

For Type 2 Diabetes
This has nothing to do with Type 1 Diabetes and is aimed squarely at fat American kids and their fat parents. What's wrong with eating eggs, flawed 1960's research still prevails in the USA? Do not waste any money on this book.
