Burgundy Rug Carpet Stair Treads Set of 12 CTS12R

I am very happy with these stair tread carpet pieces. The color is a bright, cheerful dark red, definitely more red than burgundy. They are thin but substantial enough. I like the thin nature of the tread carpets, because if they were too thick/deep piled, they would compress too much and make our narrow, steep stairway more dangerous. We got these tread carpets because our stairway from our main floor to our lower level has steep wooden stairs, and our two old, small dogs were having difficulty navigating without slipping and tumbling down the stairs. We've had these in place for two months now and have had zero tumbles! They work great, hold up great, and stay in place perfectly with just two strips of two-sided carpet tape on the long edges. I am so glad I found these--for this price, they seriously can't be beat!

My wife love them.We just remolded all our basement and we removed the 25 years old carpet from the stairs.After removing hundreds of staples from the stairs we decided to paint them and to install these treads.They look very good and they prevent us from slipping.The quality seems to be very good.

Great traction and good looks. I purchased and installed these within 2 days of slipping down my stairs while wearing socks. I've been up and down many times since then in socks and feel I'm at no risk of slipping again. In contrast I visited a friend recently with regular carpeting on his stairs and did feel I was at risk of slipping. These carpet tiles are a bit thin and have a slightly thicker edge--both properties may reduce slipping compared to a regular carpet. The design is nice but not quite as precise as I would like.

I ordered these for my mother. She had been looking for some stair treads for her home, but the one's we found were too expensive. She like to throw them in the washer when they get dirty. These were not too expensive. They are not too heavy so she can put them in the washer when they are dirty. They look good, and since they did not cost so much she can order a different color or design later if she decides too.

This item is exactly what we wanted. The price is cheap and all you need is to add some really good carpet sticky tape to make sure the threads don't shift around. At the price we have no problems with the color or pattern. To get the right color be sure to order the correct order number as different colors are separate items listed for sale. If you got the wrong color you probably did not order the correct item.

Who would care if an animal deficated, urinated, clawed this product? I think no one . May be a faster way to get it out of the house-let animals loose on it. If you already have nice hardwood floors, this is low quality and very cheap lookThe picture shows differently on the adWhen put on our stairs, it looks cheap and out of place.May be for basement stairs and not for hardwood, nice stairs.Also, the back does not hold to the wood, safety issues.

I love the way they look and the price was good. However, they need to be adhered to the steps as they move around alot. My dog actually hurt his back going up the stairs because the rugs move under his feet. One of them is coming unraveled on the edge but again, for the price - I like them.
