Great cam but upgrade you torque converter
This cam great for low end torque. Of chevy 5.3 . You do need to upgrade your torque converter to min 2500 stall. I tried it with the stock converter, it lost take off power but at 2500 to 3000 when flooring it you'd feel the power of that cam and was awesome. Upgraded my torque converter to get low end back and the thing pulls like a beast and sounds awesome. You do need a tune. I did a mail it at first and felt good but eventually got a real dyno tune and first run picked up 30lbs of torque. Torque converter and dyno tune and this cam is great . Sounds mean , people always ask me what engine I have

great product
Great product but not much detailed info on how it will perform in realistic conditions. Lots of guys driving around on you tube saying its great but nothing to back it up a few dyno vids but real life driving not so much quality info on it. installed on a 6.2 Tahoe that is totally rebuilt and dod deleted. Took some time to get tune right, not simply plug and play. If you want daily driver and want it to be stout but "friendly" you will need to spend some time on the tuning. dyno has shown impressive gains but depending on setup you might not see those as much as the charts reflect in real world driving. your results may vary

Rowdy Little Cam
An excellent rowdy truck cam that pulls strong and will work with the stock torque converter. The cam produces a very noticeable lope at idle and will require tuning due to the 108 degree lob separation angle and corresponding valve overlap. BTR advertises 107.5 degrees LSA, however I think it's more like 108 to keep the machinist happy. BTR obviously has a great marketing department. While the cam works with the stock torque converter it tends to make my truck "pushy" and a 2800 stall would work very well with this cam. Turn your truck into a "stump puller" while enjoying that killer lope this cam produces.
