Edgar Rice Burroughs at his best!
Burroughs may have died in 1950, but his stories are still a pleasure to read. ERB still holds your interest from begining to end.

typical ERB story,
similar to Tarzan, writing is very similar, only different character names. If you like ERB stories then this will work for you.

A quaint journey of a learned man when he is thrust upon a savage shore.
I feel parts of it were forced, particularly the attractions of the couple. Not unheard of for this author. But, it is an enjoyable alternative to Tarzan and his circle.
