Recommended for all skill groups perfect guitar for camping
The media could not be loaded. Easy to play small fret buzz out of the box on the low strings close to the nut and the fret board seems to sink a bit into the body instead of staying level with the rest of the neck. Playing past 12 won’t be as easy as the rest of the guitar but still playable. This is the guitar to bring to a camp fire with friends being that it’s both affordable and still easy enough to play with little buzz out of the box. Came with 2 to picks, a strap and a set of what I think is light gauge strings. My b sting busted on first tune but that’s happened with brand new Martin strings. All and all I think it’s worth the buy for both novice and experienced players as it make a great guitar to take the beating of travel without the fear of chipping or cracking a $800 takamine!

Worst Experience Ever
This came in first with a broken 1st fret, then I ordered another and it came in with the neck completely snapped in half. Worst experience ever.

Great 1st Guitar!
I have a beginner skill set and I have enjoyed learning with this guitar. The product feels great and has an even distribution of weight that sits well on my lap or standing using the guitar strap. I outer coating is beautiful and much more eye catching in person than what I saw on the Amazon page. I have found that the strings require more tuning the first couple of times but I understand that is common with string instruments. The guitar sounds great and acoustics is extremely pleasant to the ear. I have been able to improve my skills drastically with the additional resources that come with the guitar. They have been really helpful for a beginner and I have been able to improve quickly. Highly recommend this as a guitar, especially for a beginner like me.

for a bit less than $130, you could have a pretty decent, full-size acoustic guitar.
There are quite a few things to like about this guitar.Full sized body. Nice wood detail in the "flamed" maple. A general sense of decent-to-good quality.A few things that may or may not be good:The head is not black, as it appears in the picture. Rather it is approximately the same wood color as the sides and back, and features the script "Spectrum" type-logo).The body is not as dark or red as it appears in the picture (the coloring is much closer to the guitar seen in the video). The edges of the body have an ivory-colored border, which are not really visible in the still photo (but are very visible in the video). The die-cast tuning pegs seem like they will hold up well.My guitar came with two picks, an allen key, and a strap. The picks are decent for throwaways. the allen key is for adjusting the truss rod (which can curve the neck to accommodate your playing style), but there is no documentation included with the guitar or on the company's website on how to adjust it, so use caution if do you do adjust the truss rod. More on the strap later.A few things that i did not care for personally:there is no pick guard/strike plate, and according to the warranty info in the enclosed booklet, adding one with some sort of glue would technically void the warranty (although you could find a number of products to attach a pick guard/strike plate that are not permanent, altering the finish in any way is a big warranty-killer).The pre-installed strings are not to my liking, although it is nice that it comes pre-strung.The strap has two holes--which would be great, except there is only one strap button (at the 'bottom' of the body) to attach it to. The picture on the box showed a strap that had one hole and a set of ties like shoestrings on the other end (which you could actually use on this guitar). So the strap that came with my guitar is useless. Granted, you would probably get a custom strap sooner or later, and could get what you need then. Or, if you--like me--are pretty handy with hardware and power tools, you could install a strap button--or have one installed by a professional at a guitar store (of course, only if you don't mind voiding the warranty).I am a mediocre guitarist at best; economy is the deciding factor for me in this hobby (as it is in almost all my hobbies)..this guitar does what i want it to do at a fairly reasonable price point. You might be able to find a better guitar at a pawn shop or similar, but if you want something brand new, this isn't a bad option.

This guitar looks great and plays great
This guitar looks great and plays great, and comes in nice packaging, so would be a nice gift especially for someone who wants to learn guitar. It comes with an online service to help teach you tuning, metronome and chords. One minor issue is that there is no pick guard so if you use a pick, you may scratch the guitar. It comes with a tool to adjust the guitar's truss rod, which is good for people who are experienced at adjusting the action on string instruments but not so great for a beginner, like me, because I could possibly ruin the neck. I'll leave that alone and enjoy this nice-looking instrument. Sounds great for the price, too!
