Comfortable, but 18mos in the foot rest collapsed
The chair overall is big for me, but that's on me, not the MFR. The fabric has held together beautifully. The battery backup has been a godsend since we have had a bunch of power outages. My main issue with it is the foot rest, which has broken or collapsed, and will go partway up (probably temporarily) but when we lower it it spreads out and ruins the entire chair (plus makes it more difficult to get up out of) Never occurred to me I'd have a problem with this so I didn't buy the plan, and I have no idea how to get it fixed. So I guess I have to go get another one, but I don't think I'd buy this one again. 07/22/2019 UPDATE: I was not able to find *anyone* to service this chair. Nobody would touch it. Moreover the MFR could not recommend anyone, and didn't even want to talk to me about parts. They said find someone to fix it and they would talk to THEM about parts. After much discussion (including demanding, begging, nagging, etc. on my part) after four weeks or so they agreed to ship me the parts. I identified them and said "make sure you also include the two springs" 2-1/2 weeks later I get a package - with JUST the springs, not the parts. I'm ordering a different chair; this has been a total time and money sink for me. When it works, the chair is great, but when it doesn't, it's just a big wine-colored elephant in the room.

Wish the foot rest came higher up it leans down raised all the way up not sure what they were thinking sure different than anything i have ever had.

Too big!
Not so happy with this chair..as it is comfortable..it sits high off of the floor..made for a very big person...over 6' tall to be comfortable...wish I could return it!
