I found this to be a good product. It's free of apparent contaminants - seems to be 100% psyllium fibers. I think this is a much better product and a much better buy than the finely ground, flavored and sweetened fiber supplement products I find at the supermarket.

It's a quality product that I have bought several times before from this seller. The shipping times seemed to get longer each time. This most recent order was over three weeks ago and I never received it. According to the tracking, it looks like it was never actually shipped. I sent a message to the seller asking about it and did not get a response. I then contacted Amazon about it, who also sent a message to the seller with no response. I'm now finally getting a refund and need to find somewhere else to buy this from.

It does its job... Because I take a lot of magnesium I need something to add bulk and this works great. I take 1 teaspoon to 1/2 tbs twice a day with lots of water. The latter is so important. If you don't drink enough water you can get an obstruction in your bowels. I know of someone whom that happened to. But I wouldn't want to be caught without it. It seems like a good price for certified organic psyllium husk. I will order it again!

This Psyllium Husk is exactly what I wanted! Pure! No added colors, sugars, or chemicals. A healthy way to help lower cholesterol, and great for the digestive track.It doesn't taste great, (no Psyllium does!) but the health benefits are well worth it!

My doctor told me to start using Metamucil twice a day, name brand to begin with, orange flavor. But the options were sugar or aspertame -- I prefer neither. This has the same effective ingredient with no flavor or colors added. I don't mind it. It's not foul or gross, just kind of bland. It's probably one of those things that's fine if you're already used to eating fairly whole foods, but if your palate is accustomed to processed food and soda, it may gross you out. It tastes a little like sawdust. As with any of these products, be sure to mix with plenty of water/liquid, follow with some extra water (or you'll be very thirsty later), and dear god, don't let it sit before drinking. This is one product you do NOT want to be sneaking into your smoothies. I wish it were a little less expensive, and I was disappointed that it didn't come with a scoop, hence four instead of five stars. But it's a large container and lasts a long time. If I saw a similar option that was non-organic (but also not loaded with pesticides), I'd get it to save a couple bucks.

This is the only fiber that works.I have tried many fiber products, none works like this. I prepare a juice every morning and add one scoop of this fiber, it keeps me satisfied until lunch and regular in the bathroom.

Buying the organic version of psyllium is very important to me. This one is my favorite out of other organic brands I’ve tried. The price was right and the product looks consistent throughout. Arrived in great condition and quickly. I will continue to purchase this product. I add it to applesauce or yogurt as a way to increase my daily fiber intake...followed by plenty of water. I like the natural version of psylliumover the artificially colored or artificially flavored psyllium products on the market.
