Lupica pretty much the perfect heir of Robert B. He got the pace, he got the characters, he got the wit. And with this one, he got the plot too. Can’t wait for the next.

Too many pop culture references. Too much ‘clever’ repartee. Borrowing characters from other series borders on sycophancy and when they talk out of character it just gets tedious.I think I might be done with Sunny Randall.

Mike Lupica writes a great story as always with Sunny Randall. Nice little addition to include "Hawk" in the story too since I am also a Spenser fan. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

well written, kept the interest going. light moments were funny

It feels like the word count was up so lets just finish it off. A really dispointing novel , a blight on the Sunny Randal journey.
