Another good book by Lydia Hess.
This is my third book by this author. I really like her use of wide, dark lines in her artwork. The pages are mostly single sided. On the back of each page there is a saying referring to the next image (along with a small design like a feather) on the back. The paper is a medium thickness and not perforated, but can be easily removed. The pages take colored pencils, gel pens, and fineliners well. The fineliners did not bleed through but did show a faint shadow on the back of the page. But, I always put a paper between pages to prevent any damage just in case.

Excellent coloring book with thicker lines than normal!
These are the best coloring books. Highly detail but not hard to color. I'm one of those people who needs a coloring book that a "drunk adult" could still color in. And no, I don't think I'll be coloring inebriated. I just don't like stressing about tiny lines and my vision isn't the best. Having to wear glasses to color is not something I desire. "Coloring books for the soul" all have nice thick lines that make them easy to color.
