This stuff is light and easy to work with but it will melt if you are not careful using a miter saw. Painting takes coats it's just that simple. If you want it to look more like real wood it will take some effort but it looks great once done. You can use a finish nailer but try a test piece first to get depth set right. I nailed on drywall/studs and used liquid nails on brick walls.caulking will also help adhere and make it look beautiful.

Product is not as described. It is very light weight foam that becomes dented and damaged when you touch it. Not stable enough to attach to wall and place lighting in. Return policy is a joke!!! I spent nearly $600 after product cost, shipping, and taxes. Was refunded approximately $350 after return shipping, and outrageous restocking fees. This seller is scamming people.... BEWARE!!!

Holy cow, this stuff is great. I kept saying for years how I was going to put up crown molding "soon." I bought the miter saw and nail gun and everything else, then priced the molding and it was EXPENSIVE. Not to mention woodworking is a skill that I have not mastered yet.This crown changed everything. It's very lightweight - I have been putting up whole sections of it myself. You can cut it precisely as you can see in the pictures I was able to negotiate my many rounded corners no problem. You can also cope it. I used my kitchen serrated bread knife to cope the "meat" and nestle that bad boy right into the corner no problem.I then spackled the seams, sanded, and painted with Behr Marquee Ultra White. I still have some to finish in my hallway that has nine 45 degree/225 degree angles, but those are easy too! All in all, if you want crown molding that looks EXACTLY like wood, this is the way to go.

More rugged than I thought it would be. Very easy to work with and install. But cut into four foot sections if working alone. Was able to install in living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom in less time than it took to paint prior to installing. Works great for hiding surround speaker wires. Company is very easy to deal with if there is damage in shipment.
