Nice Looking and Good Construction but Comes out of Wash Heavily Wrinkled
I like the design, construction and, when ironed, the appearance of the shirt. The big drawback is how wrinkled this shirt is gets when it is washed and dried. I haven't had a shirt so wrinkle prone in quite some time.

This shirt caused an argument at my house lol. Seriously, as soon as we saw that it was made by Columbia we both wanted it and since it was a Men's shirt he ended up winning and I wasn't happy. It is warm and comfortable and high end quality all the way and he went on and on about how well the arms fit since he is very picky about sleeve length in his shirts because his arms are a tad longer than most people's. He was so happy he was able to raise his arms in the air and not be restricted or anything pulling up. I'm still pouting over this one because I love me a good Men's winter flannel to wear over a thermal with some jeans and this one was perfect and he keeps reminding me of how great it is every chance he gets and the price is fair and justified. 4 stars.*If this review helped you make an informed choice about this product in any way I would appreciate it if you take a moment of your time and let me know by hitting the Helpful button and letting me know. Correct Arm Length
For whatever reason, I have longer arms than the rest of the population. Not ape-like, just a few inches longer than the population average. Consequently, I either have to buy tailored shirts or larger shirts than I need to get the arm length correct. With the second option, I look like I'm wearing a tent with an overly large shirt just to get the arm length right. Happily, this shirt has the correct length in the arms with a normal, large shirt in every other metric. It has a pleasing dark plaid suitable for fall and winter and it looks nice while not being tucked in. You could even wear a tie and a blazer for a job interview with this shirt without looking out of place. The material is reasonably thick so not a summer shirt unless you live someplace cooler than here. It seems well put together and will most likely be durable in the long run. Very satisfied with this garment.

Durable materials and flexible fit
This isn't your traditional outdoorsman shirt or your traditional lumberjack plaid. No, Columbia has created a modern sportsware shirt that can look good in the office and still be effective for your hikes and camping trips. This is an easy breathing shirt that runs a little bit large. Wearers won't really notice the fabric constraining them and it actually whicks away sweat pretty well. The patterns are... interesting, and look better in person. But they're not exactly traditional or modern, they seemingly have the abililty to be unique and somehow not very memorable. but let's be honest - You're not buying this shirt because it'll make you a fashion icon - you're buying it because its a dependable, comfortable shirt for the office or your weekend jaunts. And it's great for exactly just that.

Great shirt that does run a bit large.
I'm actually pretty pleased this runs large because my husband tends to be a bit stubborn when it comes to the size of his clothes. He's at that stage where he thinks he's a men's large when really he's and XL. It's because he carries all his weight in the tummy. His face, arms, upper body and legs are all that of an average size large man. But he's got the tummy of an XL.So when I pulled it out of the packaging and found it ran a bit big, I had a feeling it would be a good fit for him, and it is! One thing to note is the lighter yellowish stripes in the "City Grey Large Grid" color is actually more of a lemon lime color. I feel it's closer to lime than lemon, actually. It looks good and I'm glad it's a greener shade rather than yellow, since my husband likes that color even better. Great shirt and has plenty of room.
