Lulu Boxed Set #1-6 Paperback – Sticker Book, November 28, 2016

My kindergarten daughter is around a 2nd grade reading level, so it can be hard to find books that challenge her a little while still being age appropriate. I'm so glad I found this series! She is really loving the books and has taken to reading them completely on her own and then telling me what she's read. The stories are cute and keep her engaged. The box set is really high quality and she loves having her own little carrying case for the books, and of course loves the stickers :)

My 7 year old (1st grade) daughter absolutely loves these books. She really started getting into reading a few months ago, and was begging for a chapter book for Christmas. She occasionally needs helps with words, but for the most part, she can read these independently. The books are cute, and age appropriate.

Lovely books for young readers. My 7 yr old loves animals and these books were so enjoyable for us to read with her that we finished them all very quickly. She wants to reread them on her own.

These books are about the lovable cousins Lulu and Mellie, who (I'm guessing) live in Great Britain. Each book features a different animal that is privileged (or not) to become a part of Lulu's menagerie. Children like the focus on animals and the girl's friendship, while adults will appreciate the wry humor and the realistic but sweet family dynamics. Good for ages 3-8.

I tried these for my second grade library. They are chapter books great for second grade. I read aloud and the writing style tripped me up a little, but the students wanted me to keep reading.

Children are enjoying this series. Nice packaging protects books for their permanent book collection.
