When I first got this wig, it was my second one ever and it was very different than my first one. It was very shiny and so so soft—so I did have to treat it somewhat. I used some arrowroot powder and brushed it through bc I didn’t have baking soda, then I went ahead and used some dry shampoo and it was PERFECT. I loooove how soft it is, how easy it was to modify to my liking, and I love the way it looks. I feel like it brings out a different side of me and feel all tough and pastel grunge. 🖤

i bought the dredlocks. I purchased two of them. The locks are layered and the longest layer is shoulder length. The hair is soft in both, but they are slightly different. One wig has silky locs just like the photo. The other wig has slightly coarser hair. All the hair is locked in both. The locs are locked in. They don't unravel, even if trimmed.I purchased two so I could cut one short. It came out very nice and has a completely different look. The wig washes very well. I washed it and applied gel while it was still wet. Then I sprayed it with a leave in conditioner spray. That tightened the coils. I didn't have to twist any of the locks by hand. No upkeep is needed for the locs. This is a carefree wig. The wig is lightweight and comfortable to wear. I had my hair braided in this style once and it was so heavy and unattractive in the braids. The hair in this wig is lightweight and has body that moves. It looks natural, instead of fake like my braids. I look really cute in this wig. I like dreds, but didn't want the expense of the upkeep. (this is my mother's account but I'm the one in the photo and I'm writing the review)I bought this wig for a quick gender bent james costume for Halloween. I don't want to waste too much of your time so I'll put in bullet points for y'allPros:-it doesn't shed very much-pretty good for the price-no thin spots or parts where u can see under the wig hairs-doesnt tangle very badCons:-super shiny (it comes super shiny but if you dust it over with baby powder it reduces the shine a lot so it's not a huge deal)- it gives really bad wig headaches if wearing it for a decent amount of time( this is typical of most hard front wigs but it's worth noting that if it wearing for over I'd say an hour it gets painful especially when all pinned down)-the wigs pretty big (this might be a pro if you have a big head but if not it your probably gonna wanna pin it more to fit better otherwise it's really loose. It's not pinned down in the photo tho so it's not awful loose but you probably should pinOther notes:1. Good wig for photos but it is a cheap hardback wig so it's a little cheap looking if your wearing it to an event or con and as i said it is uncomfortable so i don't recommend it for an event anyway2. For note the wig is not pinned whatsover in the photo but if you actually wanna look presentable in the wig definitely pin it down :)Sorry this review is pretty dang long but i hope it helps for anyone looking at this wig

This wig is absolutely worth the price. Its beyond soft, even my boyfriend kept touching it. I just bought a black bob very similar to this wig from another vendor. I have to take scissors to it to even it out and it was hours before I could wear it. This one I pulled out, put on, put a comb through it and I was good to go. I will absolutely buy again.OH I almost forgot to mention it came with a free pair of earrings!!?! Cute hoops that Ive already worn several times. Beyond impressed.
