Vararam 05-06 LS2 Pontiac Holden GTO V8 Ram-Air Cold Air Intake

I was a little worried with the reviews ordering this but it was unfounded. I installed it in 30 minutes with minimal fuss. I did not cut up the radiator cover I just removed it and it all fit pretty good. I removed 1/4 inch off the back of the filter connection and the whole set up settled in nice and tight . I'm very satisfied with the product , took one star away because it was short one hose clamp. Good power and throttle response on the test drive and it looks factory. Also this set up is a true ram air that allows your hood scoops to be functional, they feed right into the filter.

Do not buy if you run an aftermarket radiator!The system itself looks beautiful but is designed to sit on a STOCK radiator. I run a Mishimoto radiator and just like many others it is much thicker, and slightly taller. I spent about five hours modifying my fan shroud and even the unit but just couldn't get it to fit with the hood closed.I would recommend this to anyone with a stock radiator.

Installed in my 2006 GTO over a period of about 4-5 hours. I have a Ron Davis 2-pass radiator that used up some of the room normally available between the radiator and the intake. Had to do some extra trimming of both the flexible tube and the filter neck to get it to drop into place. Once it was in place it has been working very well and seems to have boosted performance on par with the Vararam claims. Haven't had a chance to dyno test yet, but have run it at Sebring with excellent results.

Wrong product description. NOT a direct bolt on for a GTO. Fan shroud will need trimming and if you have your radiator cover that will need to be cut as well. Terrible customer service when approached about the situation. They just forwarded the issue to the manufacturer.

Product did not fit my car, unless you don't want to shut the hood. Ended up to be a $290 filter with no housing.

Could not get it to fit???

Fit and finish is terrible.
