Q: How thick is the main pole? I want to add a squirrel baffel and need to make sure it will fit.

The pole measures 3 inches around. Just bought a Audubon make baffle that is working just fine at keeping the squirrels at bay. It's an adjustable wrap around baffle.

Q: Someone mentioned adding another pole to make the feeder taller. Does anyone know where you can order one?

The poles screw into each other using a 21MM 1.5 thread. You will need to get a tap and die set to thread a 21MM rod in order to extend the poles.

Q: I am trying to assemble this but i cannot get the bottom pole to connect to the middle. It seems like they do not fit together. Help?

There is no threaded insert and the poles are the same dimension which means they do not slide into one another. Bad design. Or we are missing or have incorrect parts in our pkg.

Q: Does anyone know the max weight of a bird feeder this will hold? I have a larger feeder (5 lb with 6 lb seed capacity.

We have a similar size feeder and about 30 doves on it often. Very sturdy. We love it!
