So I ordered these 6x10" brackets back on May 29 2022 finally ready to install Nov 9 2022 and they dont fit.The dimensions say 6x10. I got out my tape measure they are 9 1/2 inches exactly. That will not work for a 10 inch shelf that is suppose to sit inside of the bracket.Attached are photos that show exactly what I'm referring to. Of course now it's too late to return so I have to find some shelves to fit these brackets.I bought them to go over my bathroom door to store extra rolls of toilet paper.They are heavyweight and I believe they are iron or something like iron. They will not bend so I can't adjust them to use for my needs. Highly disappointed.

The brackets are well made, heavy duty and well painted

I ordered a multipack set of these for extra storage above the doors in an under staircase closet, in my laundry room, and in my butler’s pantry. These were specifically chosen due to the lack of headroom in the closet, because of a pocket door in my laundry room, & because of a lower ceiling in my butler’s pantry. These brackets have done a great job holding extra tools & cleaning supplies, extra large/heavy detergent bottles, and a large collection of heavy cook books. Very strong. Highly recommended.

Very heavy. Simple installation directly to a stud. Would not attempt to install on drywall without special fasteners.
