I don't know what this is, not what I was expecting
I was looking for a screen protector for my new Pixel 6. Amazon shipped this product with a huge gallon of coconut oil that I have a subscription for. So, the box of the case got smushed. Well anyway, I opened the package, and it was not at all what I was expecting. I didn't even bothered opening the plastic bag that was potentially holding the cases, because I knew I would be returning it. It felt and looked flimsy. The listing says "tempered glass", and I've bought tempered glass screen protectors in the past for old phones. This is not it, or at least not what I was expecting. This is soft and flimsy. I was looking for something hard, that can prevent scratches and that can act as a barrier in case of falls. I've had a tempered glass screen protector for my old phone, which is 4.5 years old. I've dropped that so many times without meaning to, and the phone screen was still intact. So if you're looking for something like that, this product ain't it.

Why did I go away from this?
Over the years I've used armorsuit products on my phones on and off. In the most recent years, I haven't used them. But they came to mind when the new generation of phones came around with the on screen fingerprint readers. I've been using tempered glass screen protectors but they've only been OK. I prefer the armorsuit. With the on screen fingerprint reader of the pixel 6, I was getting really bad results. It wouldn't work more than half the time. It was annoying coming from pixels with the hardware fingerprint reader on the back that almost never failed to the one on screen that seemed to always fail. Maybe it would have done better without a glass screen protector but I don't let my phones go without a screen protector. My son has proven the need for one many a times. After going back to armorsuit, I haven't had it miss yet. Every single fingerprint attempt has worked. 💯 % if you can believe. I can't. I didn't think it would improve that much. But it's not a fluke. I changed my wife's samsung galaxy s21 ultra from a glass screen protector to one from armorsuit and she's having the same sort of success. That alone makes it worth it. I hate it when a major feature like that doesn't work. To go from less than 50% to 100% is amazing. The clarity is very good and I find the armorsuit to give more accurate touches on the screen. I type better that's for sure. My wife agrees with this also.I will say that I installed mine and my wife's screen protector just fine. No issues. The install isn't hard but it's annoying when anything gets under the screen protector and you don't notice it until it's a little dryer. That happened to my son's phone. He got a ton of little specks under the screen protector. I tried to get it off and clean it off but couldn't get all of it. Still, it's down to 2 or 3 small spots that he's dealing with so not perfect but good enough.I'll be sticking with armorsuit from now on. That I'm sure of. Can't go wrong when so much seems to have gone right since changing back.

Pretty good for a plastic screen protector
I haven't used plastic screen protectors in years. I prefer the slick feel and scratch resistance of glass. That said, I had to use a plastic screen protector because of my pixel 6 fingerprint reader. The armor suit screen protector doesn't seem to interfere with the print reader at all. Installation of the screen protector is easier than it used to be with older plastic screen protectors. You have some window of time where you can move the screen protector around to position it exactly where you want it. As with all screen protectors, any speck of dust under the protector will be visible, although not as visible as it would be with a glass screen protector. I do woodworking and have learned not to even try putting on a screen protector unless I have showered. The product I got is gloss finish and I would say that the glare is only slightly better than the factory screen.

Works with fingerprint scanner
I bought this because my Pixel 6 wouldn't read my fingerprint (yes, I tried turning up the sensitivity and storing the same fingerprint multiple times). After I researched a bit online I heard that using the skin protector instead of glass would help, so I bought this one.First thoughts:When it arrived I was super nervous. It was very thin and soft, and I was worried that it wouldn't protect as well as the glass. It felt a bit like a gel.Application:Cleaned the screen. Sprayed solution on the screen, fingertips and protector. Layed the protector on the screen and slid it into position. Used the squeegee to clear the bubbles out. Let it cure. Easy peasy.Use:I could feel the protector when I used my phone. It took some getting used to because it felt completely different than the glass. Still felt the gel-like texture. Kind of like it would leave an imprint if I pushed it with my fingernail.Fingerprint scanner:It works! I can scan my fingerprint with no problem. It still is a bit slow but I think that is an issue with the phone itself.Verdict:So far, so good. The protector has stood up well with constant use. It's easy to keep clean and I am able to drop my phone into my work tote without any damage, although I'm still a bit nervous about putting it in my back pocket. It hasn't retained any scratches and (obviously) no cracks like I get on glass. I am very happy with this protector.

Slightly annoying to install (patience required), but worth it!
When I purchased my new smartphone recently, I knew immediately what screen protector I would get: ArmorSuit MilitaryShield. I used this brand of protector on my previous two smartphones and have been impressed by how unnoticeable it is once installed and well it holds up over time. I absolutely recommend this! The biggest drawback of the protector is that it's a wet install process, and you have to be patient with letting it dry for best results. However, the installation itself is pretty easy and I've gotten great results each time. I prefer to install it on the phone before it's even been activated so I'm not tempted to play with it until it's ready; the instructions suggest doing the application before bed for similar reasons. Once it's installed and dried, you can barely tell that there's a screen protector on, and I don't have any touch sensitivity issues with the screen.
