SencorSWK1771GR 1.7L Stainless Steel Electric Kettle with Lid Safety Lock, Green

I like this kettle. Stainless steel so healthier than plastic. The green colour looks really nice, probably nicer in person than on your screen. Gets the job done pretty quickly too, and shuts off when it's boiled.

If you are looking for a traditional red, this isn't it. The colour is more dusty rose but it's beautiful and I'm happy with it. The kettle works great and isn't loud as it boils.

Instead is stainless steel and except where it is notched out for the water level gauge. The lid is plastic/stainless steel.I received this kettle this morning and I've already filled it to the fill line twice and used it throughout the entire day. It holds 1.7 liters of water (over 57 ounces of water).It's a very simple kettle right out the box. Wash out the kettle. Wind the cord where you want enough cord to plug it in and hide the rest (under the base). The cord winds up under the base and has a notch to hold the cord in place at the amount you need to plug it into the outlet. Fill the kettle to how many ounces you want heated. Do not overfill -there's a line to the max fill. Set it on the base and plug in the kettle. Flip the switch at the bottom of the kettle and it will light up blue. As soon as it begins to boil it shuts off on its own. Unplug it and pour your water into your cup. Simple! It kept my water hot and warm for over an hour or so.I was originally going to get the steel Amazon Basic brand kettle very similar to the SENDCOR but this light green (vintage style) color sold me to pay the extra for this kettle. I'm so glad I did. It did everything I expected it to do and looked stunning on my countertop.I didn't time it to see how long it took to heat up to boil -but, it was QUICK! I know I didn't wait any time at all.We are very pleased with our kettle and will be using it daily. If we have any other experience with it -I will update the review. For now -it is exactly what we wanted and does exactly what it is supposed to do!
