Not for me
I put the book down. I found it frustrating, and in places basic and patronising. It also left me questioning whether the author was a bit judgemental of anxiety and left me asking if they hadn’t processed their own issues and instead wrote a book about it. Yes that’s judgemental of me, but I’ve never abandoned a book before! I don’t feel that the book got to the nub of the issues and perhaps addressed the symptoms and not root causes: yes I didn’t finish the book, and yes getting out of ones comfort zone is always a good plan, but that’s not all there is to that issue.

Highly recommended to those wanting to expand their comfort zone.
Highly recommend, this book is great. Ben uses his writing to share his experience and struggle with Anxiety. The 43 things to do, in this book, range from taking a quick cold shower to trying out things like HIIT. These challenges, if attempted, have the ability to change ones perspective. Mixing the challenges with his brief yet well explained introductions to things like CBT, Buddhism and Stoicism will, in the long run, help to create a newer and enlightened perspective on your own life and the world around you.By overcoming even the smallest challenges in this book, it's shows that as humans we have the ability to do anything we put our mind to.

Self help the fun (and sometimes scary) way!
A great read for anybody suffering with anxiety or confidence issues, or simply looking to challenge themselves and step outside of their comfort zone. With the ever growing duvet of cotton wool that wraps itself around us in this modern world, it has become more important than ever to throw it back and do things that make us uncomfortable. I found Ben Aldridge's book to be a welcome weapon in my fight against stress and anxiety, brought on mainly by my attachment to a computer screen at work and increasing levels of inactivity at home and socially. Ben offers you a fantastic range of challenges from easy to hard, from elevating the heart rate a little to downright sweaty palm inducing. A thoroughly interesting and well written book that will be useful for a wide range of people.

Outstanding and Relatable
I dont really know what to say! Outstanding. Very relatable, unfortunately we all feel varying amounts of anxiety and I have suffered about as much as explained in this book and it is outstanding!! There is so much information that you don't want to forget, you'll find yourself reading it time after time making notes because there are just so many amazing philosophies in there. 10/10. Could not recommend anymore than I do. I'd of bought it 20x over

You must buy this book!!!!
This book is brilliant! The author writes in such a way that it is so easy to read and really quite funny! I found myself smiling as I read which can only be the sign of a brilliant book. I found the release of this book came at the perfect time, during lockdown, and when my anxiety levels had reached an all time high. The author shares enough information to make you want to research more into the philosophies, and the aids to do this are included should you wish, but enough that you don't need to research further to continue with the book and learn from it. The challenges range from easy and reletaively quick to very difficult and requiring time and commitment. The challenges have been invaluable in helping keep my anxiety at bay, keeping my mind busy, while strengthening my will power and determination. There is something in there for everyone to challenge themselves and push themselves out of their comfort zone. I have found that the challenges I have undertaken so far have been really satisfying once I've completed them and it makes me look forward to the next. I would absolutely recommend this book, I feel everyone would benefit from it in some way, shape or form! An absolutely excellent piece of writing!
