Folbe F075 - Advantage JR Fishing Rod Holder with Pedestal (Top Deck) Mount

Over all it’s great.

Used these in guide boat in Alaska. Liked them so much I ordered for my boat when we came back.

I have used Folbe holders for a year now on Lake Erie and love them. The locking feature keeps rods securely in place and the angles provide flexibility for orienting multiple rods when trolling or drifting. I have no worries about breaking these holders, unlike some other types of holders I have had.

I just don't think there is a better, single style rod holder out there. This Folbe is very well made, sturdy, and works exactly as advertised. It locks the rod in place so now way the rod is going to get pulled out even if you get snagged, but the rod pulls up and out easily when you need to set the hook. Others you have to pull towards the fish to get them out and thus not setting the hook.I ordered the extension separately so that I could set it up a little higher if needed. Love it when a plan comes together. :)

It is by far the best rod holder I've purchased. Made from quality products and the release system is quite smooth. It takes a few try to find the sweet spot for a smooth quick release of your rod holder. Wish I would have found this product way earlier! I recommend the purchase of this product to any avid fisheman.

These rod holders worked great the first time or 2 out. The last couple times they seem to lock up and won’t release. It seems like the lock is engaged but I double check each time and it’s not. Not sure what is going on.
