Great beginning to a new series...4 1/2 Stars!
A new series by a great author, Sky Corgan! I received Flesh as an ARC to honestly read and review but I did not receive anything in return for this review except the pleasure of reading the first installment of this great new series. This is a great beginning of the series. It begins with a woman, Amy, about to experience her first BDSM session at a BDSM club called Flesh, a session that she paid for so that she could find out what this lifestyle is about and share her private session with her roommate, Janice after wards as they tell each other about it all. She decides to do very mild things but still has an unbelievable experience and it seems her "Dom" has a good experience as well. The reader has the feeling that the Dom (no name given in book 1) has a good time during the session and is shaken by the effect Amy has on him. She leaves Flesh and returns to her apartment to recount her time there with her roommate but doesn't give it all away because embarrassment and also a realization that she enjoyed it more than she wants to admit and wants to hold some of the memory just to herself.I am really looking forward to now reading book 2 and continuing on with this series.Another great read and series by a wonderful author! Well done, Sky!!

Flesh book 1
We meet Amy who has a friend Janice who is into BDSM. Janice talks Amy into living a little. Amy signs up for a little taste at a place called Flesh. Amy is very nervous. Then she meets her Dom. Oh my blue eyes she will never forget. She only checked a few things with this being her first time. Blindfold, being tied up but no sex. Once she sees him she is very sad about that. She is very happy once she has this experience and wonders if she can go back. She talks herself out of it because she paid him of course he would want her like that. Great start to a new series.Received as an ARC for honest review.

Author Understands Women's Insecurities
The thing that really stands out for me in the first part of the Flesh story is the absolutely spot on descriptions of the things women worry about. What woman doesn't look at an attractive man who looks like they could have anyone - and not feel concern for every little imperfection on her body? The author relates the insecurities so beautifully that I felt the angst and I felt the steps out of it. I love that the Dom referred to her as "beautiful." Hearing such does pick a woman up. All of that said, the downside for me is that the each section of the story costs what you can get complete novels for on Amazon. When I add all the sections together - if it were in one book - I'd not be willing to pay that amount. I'd like to see it come out in a boxed set - priced more reasonably because the author has talent - and the story has promise.

Want more.
Amy wanted a non- vanilla sex experience and her roomy convinced her to try the services of Flesh. And she had the session she paid for but it wasn’t enough. This first part let the reader intrigued. What shy and self-conscious Amy is going to do? Will she cross her safety zone and look after real BDSM? Why she has not had sex in a long time? Sir seemed out of control sometimes? This first part was like an appetizer. Liked and waiting for more.Received the ARC for an honest review.

Need More!!!
I started Flesh: Part One and then started in on Parts Two through Four right after and am anxiously waiting for Part Five and Six.Each story in this series flows well, is fast paced, and captivates you from the very first page and keeps you on edge till the very end. Sky Corgan's Flesh series will have you intrigued, consumed, and mystified. Once you start reading this series, you won't want to stop.

Flesh, book 1
Dr seems to me to be a very cold character. But I empathize very much with Amy. The story leads me to purchase book 2. Will see if it captures my continued attention.

Got me in the feels
Emotionally yanked. Me being a little weirdo, I both dislike it and like it very much. 🤷 At any rate, I'll be reading the next book, because I just can't not.

Whew, another new "hot" series!
Couldn't believe I'd love this new series, even though it is pretty short. I have Book two on Kindle, and ready to go! Wish I knew when Book three will be out. I really hate waiting......
