Totally worth getting. The material is heavy enough to not look sheer at all, but still light enough to not feel too heavy or hot while wearing - even in Florida.NOTE: You MUST plan on ironing the gown in advance! Simply taking it out of the packaging and letting it hang - even for months as I did - will NOT get wrinkles out. Either take it to be ironed professionally or do so at home.IRONING: I just used a light misting of water (no starch, didn't want white flakes on the dark robe for pictures!) and a hot iron. Keep the iron moving, of course. I also used a thin tea towel as a buffer at first, just in case. I ended up not needing the tea towel, though.And.... those who had their gown ironed looked so polished!Those who did not iron... the wrinkles were noticeable in pictures, from on stage, etc.I felt so bad for the moms - they were upset at themselves for not thinking about / forgetting to iron it.OH! And I even --carefully-- ironed the wrinkles out of the cap! My daughter laughed at me, then was like - that actually looks a lot better... MomWin!TIP:You can buy garment bags on Amazon - a set of 10 black bags (with an ID Pocket and a clear window area to see a little of the garment) was only $30 total. That's only $3 per student for such a nice addition! Super cheap BUT not at all cheap looking!TIP:Add a hanger for the gown/cap (the cap has a loop you can use to loop onto the neck of the hanger!), a hanger for stoles/cords, and then a simple name tag with the grad's name on and slip that into the ID pocket of the garment bag.... and VOILA! For about $5 extra per student you have a fabulous presentation of all the graduation regalia AND great storage for it all, too.The Cap/Gown/Tassel arrived on time (very quickly), as did the other items, too.Think ahead, Graduation Committees!Order these WAY in advance (like DECEMBER for a May graduation) so you can order all that you need with no worries of shipment delays or back ordered issues (which happened to a few of us and we ordered in February!). All you need is the student's height to order the gown.Then, if you want, just add ~$5.00 to the Grad regalia costs to go towards the $3 garment bags from Amazon (tons to pick from) and $2 for a hanger or two (from Amazon, too.).We also got our honor stoles from Amazon - gold/yellow satin - which ended up being only $3 each, too. HUGE savings, especially for smaller private schools, homeschool co-ops. Just ask parents for their student's height and $25-$30 in the Fall to order ALL you need way in advance.Believe me, you will be so grateful to have done this the Fall/before Christmas Break come Feb/March!

Love the thickness of the gown, not cheap like some. My son is 6'2 and it fits great. The length was good. We had an xxl, and would easily work for someone 6'4. Only 4 stars because the hat wouldn't fit his head. I know it's a standard size but I wish I could find one that fit his big head. Someone at the graduation gave him a better one that did fit after I spent hours hand stitching elastic in the hat. Other than that it was perfect.

This was the greatest purchase I made for graduation! I am obsessed with the color pink and having a boring black cap and gown was never gonna cut it. I did have to wear black for my actual graduation but I took pictures in this and even changed into it for my graduation party and dinner. It actually was extremely good quality and ended up being better than my official gown which was 4 times more expensive. Sizing was a little hard and I ended up with one that fit but I probably could’ve gone down a size but it was no biggie! Love love love this product and I highly recommend!

This cap and gown worked great for my daughters college graduation. It was a much more affordable price than what the school was selling. She was comfortable in 80 plus degree weather. The material was thin but that is to be expected. It held up through two ceremonies and rain at the outdoor ceremony so all told this is a solid option and I would recommend.

I didn't want to buy jostens 80 dollar cap and gown do I bought this one I was surprised that the quality was better than I thought it was even better than jostens crappy gown definitely recomend to graduating graduates

Cap and gown were fine. I just didn’t get a 2023 tassel as mentioned in the title and description but instead got both a 2021 and 2022 tassel? So I had to buy one separately

Ordered this gown last minute for a college graduation when the bookstore ran out Quality is really good and they overnighted it which we needed! Cap was also great quality. I steamed the gown and cap and it was not sheer and well made. Tassel included was an added perk! Ordered a size up because we wanted it a little bit longer than mid calf and it worked out perfectly.

I bought this graduation gown for attending formal school events. However, I was not able to use it as it's shape and design is more of a party costume than a formal gown.I would recommend this product if you are buying it as a costume, it is easy to wear and the fabric is easy to clean.

We used for dress ups and it was perfect. Wouldn’t be able to compare it to any other gown or cap as I have never worn one.
