These may be the ugliest shoes I've ever bought, and wearing Sketchers makes me feel like a teen girl from the 1990s. So, why 5 stars? Quite frankly, because they are also the best shoes I've ever worn! So comfortable, so easy to get on and off. I started walking carrying a 40lb backpack a few months ago. It's great exercise, but the extra weight is hard on the feet. My old shoes were not going to cut it. I added some insoles and they helped, but not much. Then I bought these shoes. As soon as they arrived, I thought about sending them back. The photos do not do justice to how ugly these shoes are. But, I put them on and walked around the house a little. They felt great! How great? I decided to wear them the next day on my hike, even knowing that once I set foot outdoors I was stuck with them. So, the next morning, I put on my pack and slipped on the shoes. It was clear after only a few minutes that these shoes were different. I walked 3 miles that day with my heavy backpack and returned home feeling great! And the next day, my feet were pain free. Now, after a month with the shoes, I can honestly say - They can make these shoes 10X as ugly (if that is even possible) and I would still by them! If you are looking for great walking shoes and aren't particularly worried about style - these are the shoes!**** Note **** I only wear them when I am out walking at 5:30AM with nobody around to see...

My husband loves these shoes, this would have been his 4th pair. I am not sure why the site indicates that the shoes are being sent from Skechers. They came from a store called "Orva Stores". The soles were filthy, the shipper either deliberately sent used shoes, or their quality control on returned items is extremely poor. I would recommend ordering directly from Skechers. This is the second time in a month that I have ordered shoes from what I thought were being shipped by Amazon and both times the true sellers (not Amazon) sent merchandise they had to know was unacceptable. I ordered a size 8 1/2 (from what turned out not to be direct from Amazon) for my brother and was sent a size 6, now this time getting used dirty shoes. Just a warning! No more shoe orders off of Amazon for me.

Purchased these on sale before a trip to Vegas and I must say, these are now my every day long walking shoes! If you've been to Vegas, you know you walk a tremendous amount up and down the strip. We were there for 10 days and I used these shoes every day and it felt like I was walking on air! We've been to vegas before and I've had expensive running shoes (maybe that was the problem) that made my feet go numb after walking more than an hour, but these did not.I was skeptical about size due to I wear a wide 10.5, but these fit perfectly. They weren't too tight, nor too loose. I purchased the black ones so as not to notice if they got dirty and after 10 days, they were still pristine. They also blended well with casual and dress attire. My only negative or regret about these is that I didn't buy a second pair at the sale price!Do yourself a favor and buy these! You won't regret it and will be in awe of how comfortable these are to walk in, especially over long distances!

I love these Sketcher Go Walks. They are the only shoe I've ever been able to take out of the box, put on my bare feet, and go for a one mile walk -- and not have any sore spots on my feel. They are so spongey that they make walking a whole different experience. I've walked 8 miles on trails and roads, up and down hills, and through town with these things without wearing socks and my feet don't hurt.I do wish the soles would last longer, but I guess you can't have sponge and durability probably.

I have been wearing regular hard shoes to go see clients my whole life and a coworker mentioned sketchers made a black on black comfortable shoe. I took a chance and best decision I have made in a long time to buy and wear these shoes out in the field! My feet and back are thanking me for wearing these. When I get home from walking around all day and feel so much better than before. Then to just slip them on, come on. Comfort all the way. I’m buying another pair soon. I did however purchase a half size above and should have just bought my size exactly but they still fit great.

I had a pair similar to these last me for almost five years. I pretty much only wore them around the house or for the occasional trip to the corner store. They were so comfortable I was reluctant to get a new pair until it was pointed out to me just how worn out they were. I was afraid the new ones wouldn’t be the same as the old ones. I am happy to report how misplaced that concern was. These shoes are absolute heaven to walk in. I have other kinds of shoes that easily cost three times as much as these but don’t come anywhere close in terms of comfort. Now I’m honestly considering switching all my shoes over to Skechers. I don’t understand what makes them so great, I just accept it as a reality. Money well spent.

I’ve owned other sketchers similar to this, I have a really high arch, so they’re a little bit hard to get on. I ordered the regular width, but I should have ordered the wide width as I have wide/fat feet lol. With that said, after five back surgeries, these are very comfortable to walk in.

Good shoes for walking outside, but inside at work they have the squeakiest soles I've ever had. Loud enough to turn heads. Interestingly, this has never been the case with any of the discount-store clones I've worn for the past 10 years- their problem is being more slippery than ice when worn-out. Hopefully that's not the fate of these!Also, these are a little loose compared to what I'm used to with a 10.5; with the discount-store clones I'll go up to 11 and still fee very stable for the life of the shoe. I've not had any problems with them slipping off or turning sideways on me, be there is a sense I need to be a bit more careful.Would I buy them again? Yes- but size 10s, and only for outside!

Very disappointed with these shoes. The heal back sling isn’t high enough or inward enough so the shoes slip up and down as you walk. I can imagine how sore my heal would get even after a short distance. Theres absolutely no elasticity either resulting in the need of a shoe horn to get them on. That puts even more strain on the heal section as it stretches the material backwards causing an even looser fit on your heel. The material is virtually see-through so even a puddle or a short shower would soak through to your skin.Returned forthwith. Can’t understand all those five stars. Little wonder Amazon has a poor reputation for bogus or misleading revues.

Bought a pair for my 14yr old son to wear on our holiday. Disney World = 20k++ steps per day. No problem wearing in, comfy from day one. He will be wearing them to school (until it gets to cold and wet).

Are they trainers or are they slippers. Very light and very comfortable, but they almost feel more at home with PJs and a dressing gown than being worn out and about. I think I'll definitely be looking for a more robust pair of Skecher sneakers and keeping these as house shoes.

I walk around the village three times a day. It is all on hard surfaces, and so comfort and impact suppression are vital. These shoes are so light that I hardly know I am wearing them, and so beautifully cushioning that I virtually float around the village.A great shoe at a very reasonable price. Well done, Skechers!

I am a recent convert to Sketchers. I have to say, these are amazingly comfortable. It really does feel like youre walking on clouds because of the memory foam inside. They are a little on the pricey side, but certainly not a rip off. I am on my second pair... and when these are ready for the shoe graveyard in the sky, I will certainly be buying further pairs in the future. Mega-comfortable, easy to put on and get off... what more could you want from a pair of trainers/shoes
