Pros: As a brochure this book makes me want to be a futures trader.Cons: The "system" is basically this: Use candles and the MACDSeriously thats it. Doesnt even give you a new fangled way of using the MACD. Just use the MACD.

Easy to understand, easy to follow. Weekly new video uploaded on YouTube by the author. Don is one of the rare traders who is serious about helping new traders to learn and gain confidence. Highly recommand!

Great intro into trading futures.

This book is more like a basic guide for a beginner just starting trading. Exactly what the title says. When I say basic I mean BASIC. You can learn all the same information by watching YouTube or reading up on investopedia.com. It outlines what a trading plan should entail and cautions against basic mistakes. The author also advises to use the MACD indicator, candle sticks and tells you to practice, but he doesn’t go in-depth on how to put the indicator to use in combination with candle sticks to find entries. There are a few pictures of charts in the book and buy and sell is written on them but no rational or reason besides the indicator gave a signal. No solid examples of trades taken either. There are 4 free videos that I have access to but I’m required to send an email to an address in the book. All in all I recommend buying a different book. Buy “ Come Into My Trading Room” by Alexander Ehder instead. It covers all this basic info and actually gives solid examples on how to trade. The book is primarily about swing trading but the section on day trading is still more informative than the entirety of this book.
