Very easy to use, very successful
About four and a half years ago, my trumpet fell and the mouthpiece got jammed in super hard. My mechanical engineering father tried everything he could to get it out with no luck. I finally bought this mouthpiece remover years later and it worked perfectly! The mouthpiece popped out within a minute of my trying. It left a couple small scratches on the mouthpiece, but this is to be expected when you use metal to remover another, VERY stick metal. I would definitely recommend this item.

Works as expected. Good price compared to competitors.
I bought my daughter a trombone a week ago. Wouldn't you know it, first day she has it she drops the slide while putting it away. No damage, but the mouthpiece was jammed in tight! This little tool made quick work out of removing the mouthpiece with very little effort. Sure, I could have brought it down to the music store and they probably would have taken care of this for me, but I'm assuming this will happen again so I'd rather have the tool handy.

Made well. Works as intended.
Was a little awkward to get set up initially, but once I got it in place with the bars parallel, it worked like a charm.

Effective and easy to use
I got it to unstick a mouthpiece in a 70+ year old instrument and had no idea how long it has been stuck. Got it right out. There are no instructions so if you don’t know how to use it please look up a tutorial on YouTube

Did not help us, milling issues.
This tool was not able to help and was not machined well. The threads on one of the butterfly screws on the clamp side was not long enough and would pop out as we tightened the longer butterflies that add the pressure to pull on the mouthpiece. It's a shame that it wasn't killed better. For us it was a waste. Maybe a slightly longer clamp screw would have done the trick. A pretty device but ineffective.

SAVED a Trip and Money!
Was nervous about it based on reviews however it worked like a charm. Mouth keep came right off with no issues. Lots of moving parts so be sure to be patient while getting everything adjusted and lined up properly.

Spend the extra money on the more expensive mouthpiece pullers.
The ones that have the bars that you turn instead of the wing-nuts, or whatever those are, are much easier to use. If a mouthpiece is really stuck, this one hurts my hands.
