The frame was super easy to put together. it has a nice 2 1/2 or so gap between the slats. it is great but really not helpful to a foam mattress especially a memory foam. This requires a purchase of plywood to cover over this frame. The frame is worth it as long as you know it is only part of the solution.

Perfect. I don't like have a wood frame around the bed. its soft with the organic cover, and supports a latex mattress. I bought one for each of my kids. They love them!

The box came in complete shambles, but the product was not affected. It was easy to put together and fit my bed frame just right. Not squeaky at all. The wood was of good quality with no splintering.

Good quality KD foundation with a really nice cover. I ordered the King size and received 2 Twin XL foundations to put side by side with the King mattress on top. This configuration (split King foundation) is common, and has the advantage of the foundation being much easier to move to get it established. It's also very stable once in place. I don't know whether that is always what is provided for the King.If you are ordering for a King or Queen sized mattress and use a frame under the foundation, make sure that the frame has a support bar that runs top to bottom. This will provide solid support for the foundation structure. Some frames have a center beam running side to side which is not as supportive.Pros:- Slats are all less than 3" apart, making it perfectly suitable for latex mattresses, and super supportive for foam-based ones. Mattress warranty may require this.- Assembled foundation is sturdy, strong, and silent.- Super easy to assemble (although 15 minutes is an overly optimistic estimate to get everything done for the King size). A pair of pliers is helpful for the wing nuts, but is not required. There are 4 bolts with washers and wing nuts at each end. Velcro and already-attached fabric strips keep the slats in place once positioned. The design is clever.- Locking washers are provided so the wing nuts won't loosen unless you want them to.- The wood is good quality, and the fabric strips keep everything properly aligned.- For frame sizes with a center support, it is bolted for great stability.- The cover is well made with high quality material and workmanship. It fits perfectly and protects the mattress while allowing breathability.- The cover attaches with Velcro strips already positioned on the bottom of the frame which keeps it in place when you position the foundation.- We wanted a low profile foundation to enable storage under the bed while keeping it at a comfortable height for sitting, and this fit the bill. (There is also an 8.5" version if that works better for you.)Cons:- The instructions could be clearer, especially for the orientation of the end pieces which isn't mentioned (the long Velcro strips on the end pieces should face down).- Most of the slats sit on the foundation without being physically attached. We haven't experienced any movement or noise as a result, and if we do, it's straightforward to use screws to secure them later.Overall, I am very pleased with the quality and ease of installation, and highly recommend it!
