Seems great for R/C batteries.
I recently got into R/C cars. Which means batteries and charging. The chargers that came with cars take hours to charge. This charged them in about an hour. I have three 2200MA batteries and a 4400MA battery. I charged all 4 in less time than it takes to charge one of the 2200MA batteries with the cable that came with the car, and that was using the "balanced charge" function. Not the "quick charge". The unit did get a little warm but from what I have read, that is normal. I have only had this charger a couple days but so far it is impressive.

99% of RC charging needs fulfilled here
This charger does everything you could ask for and more. The "and more" part? You can connect it to a PC and update firmware, and as of this review the most recent firmware update was just a few months ago in September 2016. For example, the charger did not originally come with a High Voltage LiPo mode (4.35 per cell rather than 4.20 per cell), but a firmware update added that capability. And it charges LiHV well too - there's a totally separate mode, and a warning screen before charging to make sure you didn't accidentally start charging a normal LiPo with LiHV settings.Additionally, the menu system is easy to navigate, and it's packed with features outside of just plain old charging (detailed internal resistance measurements, ability to calibrate the internal voltmeter, battery meter, battery memory profiles, PC controlled charging). When I got started in RC I contemplated getting an expensive multi-port charger with high current capability. Now that I've been doing it for a while, I'm really glad I didn't spend more. This is definitely the sweet spot for price/performance. I rarely need more than 50W charging capability, and if I did for some sort of parallel charging etc, it would actually be more cost effective just to get a second B6AC V2 rather than buying a beefier charger.

Authentic SkyRC charger works great!
While researching this brand of charger I read many experiences from people who got burned by merchants selling fakes. I also heard about quality issues including reliability and accuracy of the charging voltage. The features suit my purpose perfectly so I took a chance and bought it from Amazon since I trust them to make things right if I got a fake. So far my experience has been great! SkyRC chargers have an authenticity label to make sure you didn't receive a fake. Mine checked out fine. Also, I used the battery meter function to check the voltage of a battery and compared it to a reading from a multimeter. The voltage is correct down to the millivolt. I have only had it for a few days so I can't comment on reliability. I will definitely update this review if it dies prematurely.

Great charger so far.
Seems to be a decent enough charger. I bought one of those chargers that looks identical to this, but did not have a power source. it was defective from the factory so I sent it back and got this "guaranteed original". I've been charging 1.6mah . 7.4 V lipo batterys packs with this every day now and also 5400mah 7.4 packs. I also charged a 11.1V 3C pack. everything seems to work very well. Easier to use than cheaper knockoffs with more features.I'm charging at maximum but not quick charge.Seems to be a decent enough charger I bought one of those chargers that looks identical to this but did not have a power source it was defective from the factory so I sent it back I've been charging 1.6mah, 7.4 V lipo battery packs with this every day now and also 5200mah 7.4 packs. I recomend buying all-like lipos and adding the parallel charging board. Don't forget the lipo safety bag as well.

Charge Master Software lets you monitor your batteries from a computer !! This thing is great.
I had one that was basically dead out of the box, but returned and the replacement is fantastic. Comes with several connection types and love the aligator clip charging option (though dangerous ha) its great for people like me. The Charger does Get hot, and does not have a Fan, but you can monitor the temp from the App, and it does tell you to wait between cycles. I like the fact it doesnt have a fan running constantly, however in the case I need to keep it going non stop I did add a little 5v fan to the side of the charger basically take one screw out of the top left corner on the side that has the USB connection and then use a long plastic screw to go through the little 5v fan housing and back into the charger. Cut a USB cable and tied into the 5v power supply from the computer and used a balance lead so I can unplug it if I don't need the fan running. Next step I will get a thermostat to auto engage the fan, but its easy enough just to unplug it, I may also add a hellgate buzzer onto the thermostat and have it kick on the buzzer if temps get too crazy, but those are just tinker minded add ons, Really not necessary. If you are not pushing the thing it stays within a reasonable temp and is actually cooler than others I have used. This is the best charger I have ever owned simply for the app. One thing that I miss on the app (unless I just cant figure it out) the app doesn't allow you to do a resistance check) you have to manually scroll to that on the machine. (correct me if I am wrong) furthermore that is just software, that could easily be updated in the future. the button clickers are not the highest quality, so I do suggest long term using the PC to control it, that way less wear and tear on the buttons.
