GSI CreosB526 Mr. Finishing Surfacer 1500 Black, Mr. Hobby

This product is so good that I have virtually switched over to using the Mr. Hobby surfacers . They come a variety of mediums and colors. They spray on so smoothly, it is unbelievable.

I got tired of buying primers that sputter and clog. You’re not saving any money if it doesn’t work and you’re definitely not saving yourself any time or headaches. This stuff works. It covers perfectly and quickly, and it adds a nice tooth to the finish so your paint will stick. I ordered more of this today.

Excellent product, it goes on smooth and leaves a beautiful coat. One bottle is usually good for 3-4 scale models.

I tend to use Vellajo airbrush primer, it is much cheaper. But the cost of convince is very easy to overlook given the results that Mr hobby surficer gives. It goes on easy, in thin coats. But it has great coverage, and settles flat as long as you don't over do it. I started with it when I was a new builder, and I always keep a can or two around. Being able to just grab a can, and not deal with setting up and cleaning the airbrush makes it worth every cent.

Amazing coverage. Looks flawless If applied in thin coats and at the right conditions. Another fantastic GSI product.

If you're a modeler then you need this. It goes on easily and dries smooth as silk. Just beware it does have a fairly strong smell when applying. Spray it in a well ventilated area. Once dried there is no smell at all.

Absolutely love this primer and wish the company would make a bigger can. Otherwise this is one of the best spray primers I’ve used yet! Highly suggest using this primer.
