Overall it’s an average product but a good value. I will probably continue to use it. It works as a case and it does appear to be well stitched and sturdy. I like that the notches to hold the screen in a view position are stitched on so it won’t easily slip over them and fall flat (a frequent issue with my last case which prompted this purchase) and they should remain functioning as stops for a while. I haven’t had any workmanship issues but the title is a little deceiving and there are some annoying design flaws I’ve detailed below and the work arounds to the flaws I’ve found to still enjoy the product. I would definitely recommend a screen protector as I don’t think it would be reliable protection in a drop but I am not going to test it to find out for sure.The only major complaint I have is the auto-sleep feature doesn’t consistently work and it was incredibly frustrating at first. The way the cover naturally closes doesn’t trigger sleep-mode 100% of the time so if you’re watching a movie and just close the cover it frequently continues to play. This is a pretty easy fix but I did dock it a star for this as it is an annoyance. To work around this design flaw there are a few very easy options -Option 1: When closing the cover, actually grab the front cover flap and pull it over the screen as far out past the edge as it will go and it triggers the auto sleep.Option 2: when it’s closed, pull the front cover flap to fully extend as far past the edge as it goes and it will trigger the sleep function.Option 3: Simply click the power button to put the iPad in sleep mode.This is NOT really a wallet case as there’s no secure pockets for credit cards or cash. I didn’t dock any stars because I didn’t intend to use this as a wallet so it’s still what I cared about; a nice looking case for my iPad. It’s much more a folio style case with one large pocket on the outside front. It isn’t secure and credit cards or cash could easily fall out if you grab it wrong and the pocket is facing down so I wouldn’t recommend using it as a wallet. It is a great place to put a grocery list or in important papers and I have put my phone in the pocket on a few occasions to free a hand as the phone gets wedged in slightly and stays in place reasonably well for a walk to the car or something similarly short in distance.I was concerned that the iPad wouldn’t stay in the case when I got it due to the way it’s designed but I put it in the case and shook it over my bed to make sure it wouldn’t come out and it stayed where it should. I was also concerned that without a snap to hold it shut it would open accidentally but the magnetic close appears to be strong enough but I still recommend caution.

Great I pad cover

I really hate to this rate mini I-pad cover with 2 stars because it is so well-designed and sturdy that there isn’t another one that rivals it. But it can’t be used if it is falling apart. In fact I ordered one in March 2019, and it lasted 1 year and 3 months with incredibly high use. I replaced it only because the spine was a little stretched and would occasionally cause the magnetic cover to not line up properly causing the Ipad not to turn off. But for 1 year and 3 months of high usage, the stays held it up well without slipping, the closure magnet never failed, it was squared-up perfectly - and the cover has a texture that gives your hand a good grip.This second purchase didn’t show the same care in its assemblage. When it arrived, the cover was already out of square so that the magnets didn’t line up well. This was very disappointing because it gave it an “already used” feeling. But I took it in stride because it is the best design and quality I had found. But alas, in slightly less than 2 months the “leather” is separating from the plastic form that it is glued to in the piece that I-pad slides into.It might be that the first cover was stitched on that piece but this one is glued, but I cannot compare because I discarded the 1st one. But this one will soon be a raggedy mess, so I have arranged to return it. There was a $3 restocking fee, apparently charged by the manufacturer, but the Amazon representative credited that amount to my Amazon account to be used on my next purchase which I greatly appreciate.I plan to order this same cover again hoping that this one was just a dud. I dearly hope that’s the case because this design and cover material is above and beyond. S-Tech has new similar style out now with extra colors, but there are already a couple of negative reviews, so if this next attempt is also of bad quality I will skip trying the new model, and pick another brand.

I am disappointed in the description of this being leather. While that maybe the case inside, the outside is a rubberized material. Stepping back and taking an overall, I would say it is a good looking cover. Just received it so I can’t speak for it’s durability. The iPad fits very nicely in it, feels secure. Some had said theirs didn’t fit properly but maybe the manufacturer made some adjustments as I would say the fit was perfect.As others mentioned though the corners of the iPad are not protected if you drop it by accident. Need to change the insert point to the inside edge and protect the outer corners.I’ll give 4 stars instead of 5 only for the fact that the description is misleading. If there’s nothing wrong with a product then describe it in plain language that’s not misleading.Will I be sending it back? No. Truthfully, a really nice cover if you weren’t expecting leather

This is the second one of these covers that I have owned. The first one was bought 4 years ago and worked perfectly until my grandchild's puppy decided to chew on it. Even with the chewed corner, it protected my Ipad wonderfully. When I decided to order another cover I looked at others but decided I wanted to buy the same cover again. It is just as nice as the first and is very sturdy. My grandchildren use my Ipad often and it is holding up well to their tough little hands. Great protection for my Ipad mini! I would buy a third if it became necessary!

After many years of using my iPad Mini 2, I finally decided to buy a cover for it. This one really caught my attention based on its price, other reviews, and overall appearance. I am pleased with it so far. The only neutral comment I want to make is that I wish my iPad fit in it a little more snug. Other than that, I would definitely recommend!

The first one lasted 5 years of daily use and was still sturdy and protecting my iPad well but the finish was starting to peel off. When looking for a replacement I was glad to find this "S-Tech" case that is identical to to my old "Jammy Lizard".
