Not as heavy duty as I would expect with Emiril's name on them. Rather cheap and flimsy.

WHAT A STEAL FOR 10 PAIRS OF SCISSORS. THEY ARE GOOD QUALITY FOR LESS THAN $2 A PAIR. THEY ARE LIGHTWEIGHT.

Sturdy and easy to clean with no spots for food to linger.

There are so many! I bought a new house last year and most of the collect of scissors that I had racked up over the years ended up not coming with me. I needed good kitchen shears, but beyond that I needed good scissors for everything else around the house. I have a very nice knife set and I was very tired of finding parts of it around the house after someone decided to use them on something that they shouldn't have. Come to find out, after I went to the store to buy new scissors, they are much more expensive than I remember! I bought a two pack for about half as much as this 10 pack, and they were just simple scissors, not fancy ones like these. Anyway, one of the two scissors quickly got destroyed by someone using them on something they shouldn't have again (why do you need to use nice brand new scissors to wipe off extra super glue while gluing something I have no idea!) and the other pair went missing. Now, with this pack you get so many for a great price! Everyone gets their own pair including the kitchen! The ones that are left over I have hidden away for when if any of them wear down or when the kitchen pair eventually goes missing because someone misplaced theirs. All I know is that I will always have access to scissors when I need them which makes me very happy!Pros:- There are just so many, you never have to worry about being unable to find a pair of scissors again!- They are strong and appear to be well made.- Each one can be used as a nut cracker (I haven't tested this feature yet because I don't have any nuts ATM)- They are not dull, they are sharp enough to get the job done.Cons:- They are kind of big. (This may not be a con for anyone with big hands, but they are kind of large for mine. I bought this kit of 10 because the kids keep losing scissors in the house. The scissors are good quality for the price. My husband loves them because these seem to be built for those wearing gloves or those who just have man sized hands. They flop around in my hand when I try to use them and my kids struggle, too. I guess my husband will be able to enjoy all 10 pair.
