I disagree with the other rave review. The shears aren't as sharp as a very generic pair I've used the past couple years, and the grip....it actually hurt to use them. The bottom grip that's yellow is not bonded to the metal beneath; it's on a spring-loaded mechanism that although there's a set screw that can be tightened that bottom handle always has some slop that rotates when the shears are used, requiring extra unnecessary pressure to get through the cut. They don't cut nearly as well as the generic cutters I still have. The "thorn guard" is a rather useless appendage I thought might be useful but it actually gets in the way. I should have suspected something was up with the big discount Amazon was offering. Sending them back for a more ergonomic pair.

Got these for a deal on Prime day and am very happy with the performance. Easy on the hands when doing a lot of pruning and can handle large branches with little problem, depending on how my strength you have in your hand. I certainly wouldn't have paid full retail, as they aren't that good, but much better than the cheap pair I used to have.

I am new to gardening but bought a home with ALOT to do ..so I needed great shears. Thankfully reviews led me to these and I love them!! My Hubby even chooses these over the regular shears he bought at the same time. I am enjoying gardening and I think having the right tools has made all the difference.

These are a great quality. I like the rotating handle feature that moves with your hand as you cut. They cut even the thickest branches I was trimming. Nice and sharp and heavy duty

This thing is a real piece of work! It works so smoothly you think it is not picking up anything!I used to trip tre front yard tree ( thick branches) and it delivered! I was impressed how strong and sharp it is. If I can trim tree branch with this I can do three bushes easy enough! I'll buy one more

These things are super sharp and work extremely well. Quality product that will last for years.

I bought this hoping it would work, as in easily snip small branches without breaking any fingers. And OMG was I pleased! These shears are marvelous! They actually work LOL

I cut branches more than one inch in diameter with this. Comfortable and comes razor sharp and well-oiled. Exceeded my expectations. Finally chopped off some stubborn trees that broke my coping saw blade.
