I like this timer because I can record my voice instructions for each timer and with five timers it is quite handy. The timers can be set up to eleven hours and fifty nine minutes each. The batteries that came with it were worn down causing the voice recording playback to be inaudible but with new batteries it gives clear playback, three triple A batteries are required. Also, the beeper and the voice playback are quite loud, there is no volume control so I taped a sound deadener on the playback microphone holes which works quite well.

Great idea, defective workmanship. Dead On Arrival.Seller cheerfully refunded money, no problem with them.

I was hoping this timer would give me voice reminders only. Unfortunately, there is no option for voice only and the voice message is preceded by beeping. The beeping is EXTREMELY loud -- almost as loud as our smoke/CO alarm. Some people may want this, but it won't work for me so I am returning it.The voice message is not crystal clear, but it's understandable (at least when you know what it's saying).Since the item description says voice OR beep alarm, I'm deducting one star for that and one star for the recording quality.

My wife and I run a motel and currently and constantly using a ThermoWorks "Extra Big and Loud" countdown timer to remind us to do a repair in a room, take the Ozone out of a room, take the bread out of the bread maker. The ThermoWorks timer works well because it is loud and persistent. None of this making a single beep. It is a great countdown timer, but now we forget why we set the timer.This unit is almost EXACTLY what we want. Easy, easy, easy to use.1. When you get the timer, open up the back and remove the plastic battery protector.2. Set the clock using the H, M, & S settings3. To set the first countdown, push the big 1 pad, set the hours, minutes and seconds you need to countdown.4. While holding the record button, record your memo.When the time is up, it will beep for several seconds, then repeat your memo quite loudly three times. Then once a minute after that, it will beep again. Don't remember why you set that timer, push the 1 pad and you will hear your memo. Works the same for all 5 settings.ONLY improvement I would make to this is to increase the interval of the reminder beep to something like every 10 seconds for those of us who are running in and out of the lobby and may not hear it in the 30 seconds we are there.

This product is exactly what I hoped for in a timer. It also is the only product I could find that would record a message. The alarm is LOUD, exceeding my hopes and expectations. Great Product! When it arrived, the tape in packaging was yellowed with age. The recording was too staticky to understand. The company promptly sent me a return shipping label and replacment alarm. The second alarm arrived with the same yellowing with age tape on packaging. This alarm didn't work at all. I then noticed the batteries which came pre-installed were rusted and corroded. I bought replacement batteries and alarm functions fine. No instructions came, so I'm figuring out how it works by experimenting.

This FreshAlarm serves my purpose. I use it for my son, especially on the weekends when the evening schedule is different from the typical weekday evening schedule.Remind him:-time to get off the computer-time to practice viola-time to do exercise-time to floss, brush teeth & take showerI like that my voice is added to the alarm. Sometimes, I can be in the middle of doing something and forget to say hey, it’s time to get off computer...I don’t have to worry about forgetting because the alarm is set so I don’t have to say it.This alarm works for me because the weekend schedule can be a little more fluid and not as rigid as the weekdays. Therefore, alarm will be at different times at any given moment. See above, I can setup alarms in a row based on when I want alarms to alert.

The recording quality for alarm reminder is not very good, but everything else works great. Can have 5 alarms work at the same time, and continue to beep every 30 second if the alarm is not acknowledged.

Wanted this to set for various projects at one time. Use for several wash loads. Has a loud volume too which can be sdjusted.
