Eh. Take it or leave it.
Watched it once, and I have no desire to watch it again. Alissa just doesn't have the same presence that Angela did. Nothing is to be taken away from the musicians though; the performances are top notch, the sound is clear, the solos are as clear and vibrant as ever....but I feel like I've seen this done before, but better. The main Wacken concert is 72 minutes long, and then in the extras there are eight full song performances selected from the Tokyo Sacrifice DVD; these add up to 33 minutes. The seven-minute behind the scenes is an absolute waste of time. So for the package, you get the live CD of the whole Wacken show plus a 105-minute live DVD. For the price, it ain't bad. Just depends how much you love Arch Enemy and how you've warmed up to Angela not being in the band anymore. I got nothing against Alissa vocally, but AE, I felt, has been stale in their product for the past two albums....I hate for that bias to come through in this review of a live performance, but it does affect the rating also.

Absolutely superb!
I watched the main portion of the DVD this evening and have not yet seen the other parts, but wanted to write this before I forget...This show is impeccable! Alissa is an outstanding singer and front-woman, and Jeff fits perfectly into this band. The staging, lights, pyro, mixing and editing are all excellent, and the performances are both technically precise and aesthetically stunning. This is an amazing bargain! Thank you to all who made this possible.

Sounds great. Can’t see Loomis solo
If you like Satan music it’s great! Well produced and the music is top notch. My only complaint is that on the DVD they don’t show Jeff Loomis playing his solos which is why I bought the damn thing! You can see every note of Armott though. :) I wish Iron Maiden’s newer CDs sounded like this one.

Still need to watch the Dvd But the Power of this band live is Amazing and the Vocalist just tears if up... the lady can Growl with the Best of them.. and Behind her is one Tight Band...
