I purchased this as an memory upgrade for my Dell Optiplex 7010 MT. They were easily installed and recognized by BIOS with no issues.

About 3 weeks after getting this ram, my computer froze up. At the time, I just figured it was a random event, but the following month or 2, my computer and some applications kept freezing up on me and I've never had that problem before. It wasn't long before I figured out the only change that I made recently was that I had doubled my ram. Bad hardware frequently can cause random lockups, so I reinstalled my previous ram and now no more problems.This isn't a good quality product.When I get some extra money, I'm going to rebuild my computer with all brand new, name brand products.

I decided to buy a refurbished HP computer (not on Amazon) from a company that offered a 90-day warranty. 4 months in, surprise, the RAM failed. So I found this 16GB to replace the 8GB that came with the computer.Snap in place, put everything back together, and that computer is better than when I bought it.
